HAPPY NEW YEAR!! So excited to move into 2020 with you. Today, I have a walkthrough of my custom goal-setting planner for 2020, which you can find now on Etsy.
This 2020 Goals Planner is similar to the HB90 Method quarterly planner. In this video, I discuss the differences between these two planners, but basically, the HB90 Quarterly planner has the goal-setting pages AND weekly and daily pages for planning through the end of Q1 (or March 31).
The 2020 Goals Planner has the entire year’s worth of goal-setting pages with a weekly checklist for your tasks. It does NOT have weekly or daily planning pages, but it does carry you through the entire year of 2020.

I want this version of your planner so bad but it’s already almost Q4. If you put out a 2020-2021 that had Q4 and all of 2021 I would buy it in a heartbeat. I love this! I also am super excited for getting your social media planner! Thank you for all you do!

Very excited about your social media planner. Looking forward to learning more. FYI, in case anyone's interested, I enjoy printing my own A5 planner pages, and you can purchase white A5 paper on Amazon already prepunched for a 6-ring binder. It makes it extremely easy to print HB90 and other custom planner pages.

@@HeartBreathings The blank A5 paper from HandyForms (amzn.to/36y1sAY) is excellent quality with a nice weight, but it only comes in a package of 50 sheets. It's my favorite. Another alternative, which I'm currently using because it has a better price point and comes in a package of 250 sheets. (amzn.to/2MT3jZd) It's really good quality paper, but if you place it beside the HandyForms paper, it has a little bit of a grayish tint to it. I don't notice the gray tint unless I place it directly next to something that's truly white. Hope that helps!

Yay!! I’m so excited!! I bought the quarterly planner each quarter in 2019 & then pulled out the goal setting pages to put in my normal planner. This makes that so much easier!!! I LOVE the expanded review sections, too. Thank you SO much for this!!!

Oh dear. Is it bad that I want to use both the quarterly #HB90 planner AND the full year #HB90 #goalsplanner? Haha! Planner addict alert! :) Agreed that the year-end review was soooooooo helpful in finding where I need to step up in 2020 and to remind me of how much I really did accomplish in 2019. Onward to the great things to come for us all this year!

Happy New Year and welcome back! I love how this planner is set up. I have the Q1 but I am considering this one for the rest of the year to use with my Hobonichi Cousin. I'm so excited about the reflection pages. The 2019 review was so helpful for me. And I can't wait for the Social Media planner. I guess I just want ALL. THE. PLANNERS. :)

I was telling my family and my husband's best friend about your channel. I think they were shocked I had a planning and life goals guru since until this past year my philosophy is that nothing can be planed without going the Heck in a handbasket. I purchased the 2020 planner on Etsy and really enjoy using it. I wanted to share an eye opener: In the goals setting section, you give the example of a goal: "To move toward feeling healthy and joyful on 100% of my writing days." I read that and thought, that's exactly the goal I want to set but would never have thought to write that on my own. I never thought that goal was attainable. I guess that's the purpose of this exercise - to reach for the moon and not edit yourself in the process which is also the writer's mantra.

I wanted to say I’m thankful I re-found your channel! I watched the one about your planners and forgot to click subscribe and then forgot what your channel was called. I have “stroke brain”. Your little one is such a beauty! The video I watched with you holding her made my heart so happy! I have a niece that I am very close to and used to watch her since she was born (she’s now 14 going on 30, lol!) and my sister has had all boys since having my niece. All 4 kids are ages 14, 5 (in February), 2, and 2 months.

Absolutely love the details you put into this planner! I've been working on mine but will sneak yours with my next allowance! I'm more directed into the launch of a new blog. I love where you are going with the social media planner, too. I'm a paper girl and my local friends are all digi's. I guess being a blogger makes me a serious digi, too. I'm mostly working in composition size TN this year. Bullet Journal, common place, plans.. I'm:also using 2 happy planner Big's. I'm just not quite completely setup, yet. I don't have a budget to just buy others ideas set ups either. So some days are just exhausting. ~Heidi

I've replaced my bullet journal with the HB90 planner. I just started working full-time and don't have enough time to devote to the journal. Even though I haven't made much progress on my goals, I love the daily pages for personal use.

Hi Sarra! Great video. Is it possible for you to do a video on how you go about creating your own planners/planner pages? What program do you use? How do you decide what to put in it? How do you create the pretty quotes dividers? What is the process of making your own planner and why you decided to start creating your own versus using the one's you can get in the store already made up? I may be the only one interested in this information and if that's the case then it may not be productive to make a video for just one individual and I get that but hopefully I'm not the only one who wants to know 😊 Thank you!

Yes! But the Q1 and goals planners for HB90 aren't released until November. I'm a bit behind other planner companies, since it's such a busy season and I create it myself! But it's coming!

@Sara s It really depends on you. This year I used a regular notebook until I could figure out how I plan. I am a project planner. Take your time. Good luck!

Get a 2020 planner at any store that has a weekly layout and a monthly calendar at the beginning of each month. Just use it for your to do lists. And write birthdays and anniversaries and any place you have to physically be in the monthly. You’ll soon find if you need more space per day. If you want pages to do budgeting. If you need project planning or plain note taking paper. But if you’re brand new, then just get an agenda from any stationery shop or grocery store or bookshop. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed by KZfaq.

Simple is best. Planning is great, but there is a point past which time is better spent actually getting stuff done and achieving goals than making more cute or artistic pages. The journal itself is not an accomplishment, it’s a tool. A fancy journal accomplishes nothing more than a spiral notebook.

Where did you buy that pink Happy Planner cover set with the discs that the letter size goal planner is in? I’ve tried finding a Big size (11 disc) Happy Notes at my local Michael’s and the aisle had been rummaged through completely and there was none left.

It looks fantastic! I was wondering if anyone’s tried using these planners in their iPad? For example uploading it to GoodNotes and then bookmarking the pages into an outline to make it easier to navigate in digital form and filling it in with an Apple Pencil? If so I wonder how well doing it this way would work? I love planners but I like using my iPad so I can take all of my notes everywhere with me.
