I run a similar setup for base camping. I was very impressed with how well it works. Key with fridge efficiency is never opening the fridge and keeping it very loaded with drinks and food. The less times it cycles the less power is consumed. During the morning / day power is usually in surplus its after dark that that battery is used.

Our kids are always going in and out of the fridge and then not closing the lid all the way. 😂 we haven’t had power issues yet but fingers crossed.

Thanks for the video bud, 2 questions: 1.) How long can the 240Wh battery power the fridge if you have no solar. 2.) How long does it take to charge the battery with your solar panels and 3) (sorry I lied) do you think you can run on just one panel?

1) depends on the outside air temp and how much you’re opening it to get stuff out but it goes from 12.4 to maybe 11 volts overnight. 2) I’ve never timed it but whatever I lose overnight it charges back up in a couple hours. 3) for sure. You’ll just have to keep moving it around to keep it in direct sunlight.
