8:50 I can TOTALLY relate; I had eye correctional surgery (my eyes were drifting horribly) and I just woke up blind, basically no memory of anything past the IV drip, my eyes hurting like crazy and a cloth over them. I was basically bed ridden for around 5 days, I got the surgery on Tuesday and only started being able to even about opening my eyes on Thursday, and only recovering enough that I didn’t need a cool cloth by Sunday.

8:24 As someone who went through a bursted appendix, let me tell you that it's also easy to misdiagnose. When my stomach hurt, we went to a hospital and they said I was constipated. Two weeks later, I was still hurting like crap so we went to a different hospital where they found out about my bursted appendix, but it was so serious that they had to fly me in a helicopter to another state that had a hospital that could treat it.

I was similar too. I actually thought my appendicitis was actually just a stomach bug that really hurt since I had the same symptoms just a month or so earlier but it went away (turns out that was also appendicitis but that healed) and only realised when I couldn't walk and was in immense pain and by then my appendix had burst twice so they had to stitch a drainage bag to me after my surgery for 3 days. The doctors couldn't understand how I didn't feel such severe pain.

I know this pain. I got a set of braces with the palette extender. They did take it off after a few months, but the rest of the braces stayed for another 2 years. Then another year later, I got more put on. They stayed for another 2 years, but when we went in for the removal appointment, they realized that they had put them in wrong!! So they corrected them, and then they had to stay for another two years! This time I also had a spring thing installed on a few that was supposed to push those teeth apart. This thing was like a freaking cheese grater on my cheek, I had to stuff my mouth with wax in order to try and not gouge out my gums. Then there was another metal ring inserted between one tooth and another that was crooked. My gums grew over it, and I told them this when they were taking it out, but they didn’t believe me, so when they did try to take it out, it just sliced my gums up for about 15 minutes before they noticed. Braces are pure torture.

For me, the palate expander is worse than the braces. EVERY single time I eat I have to wash out my mouth with water like 60 times + the pure torture of trying to get the food out from the lines of the expander

When they took off my expander, I literally had CUTS from it OBLITERATING my mouth. Now, I use a retainer. I HAVE TO CHANGE A RUBBER BAND ON MY FRONT BUT IT GOES UP AND WONT COME DOWN AND IT STAYED THE ENTIRE NIGHT AND NOW IM IN SO MUCH PAIN

I went to the dentist on the 6th of May and they gave me a filling. There was a broom. No, it is not a normal household broom. It was a dentist's broom. That broom had removed all the germs and moisture from my mouth. I could not eat cola or hard food for a day. I only had the chance to eat and drink water after 1 hour. The doctors told me. He gave it to me and there was a water machine and a sacking machine, it tickled my teeth so much.

I had braces for 2 years, and I had to get four teeth pulled out (two on the top and two on the bottom). I had a giant over bite and my bottom teeth were crowding. Those two years of pain were WORTH it! My teeth are much easier to clean without all the crowding at the bottom and the over bite doesn't hide my bottom teeth as much anymore. My face was swollen most of the time because I guess my mouth is just REALLY sensitive. Thanks for reading this all the way!

Hearing about your wisdom tooth surgery made me think of my first MRI scan when i was still very young. I don't remember why i had to get it done all i remember is we went to the hospital, they stuck me with a needle that hurt as usual, sat me up in a small hospital bed like the ones they have in the back of ambulances. As they where getting ready to put me to sleep they had the tube connected to the syringe in my arm and i was actually able to watch the white sleep inducing fluid go through the tube like one of those plastic crazy straws. THE EXACT MOMENT the fluid reached the end of the tube and went into my body my vision became pitch black instantly and just as quickly as i was knocked out i find myself waking up in a wheelchair feeling incredibly drowsy despite the whole awake, asleep, awake again experience seeming to happen in the span of 5 seconds

The dentist tried to convince my mom to get me braces once. I am very glad she didn't let them. Also, I completely agree about the tail bone thing. I went ice skating, didn't even brake mine and it still hurts if I sit for too long 2 years later!

yeah, I feel your pain. I had a Herbst device (true suffering) and a pallet expander at once for 2 years. then after like 6 months of joy I got BRACES! It's been almost 2 years with them on now, so I 100% know what pain and suffering you went through. and if anyone is wondering about him going to sleep, yes, it is as if there was a missing scene. 1 second they were talking to me, and the next second I was in the waiting room. it was instantaneous. (I think I was talking too long...)
