@@jamestoni he’s natural, clearly you have never been in a gym at least for five years in a row eating as clean as possible avoiding junk food at all cost, try that and eat at least 1g of protein per lb of body weight and come back but after 5 year of hard work let’s see if only with tren this is possible.

Hi, thx for sharing! 🙏 That's for maintenance because you did the work before ahah , could you tell us what you do for gaining muscle? (I just came back from a 1 month trip in Japan, amazing food, but 2 slices of pork in a bowl of ramen didn't cut it for my protein daily intake and the 15km walked every day didn't help either! So I lost a lot of muscle mass). I would like to start a new diet with less carbs (fed up with rice pasta and all)if possible but I need the 3k+ kcal . Thank you!

@@BrianPruett The biggest difference has been cutting out things with hella added sugar! Soda/fastfood/candy. Then with everything I normally ate I switched to “no added sugar” variants, also switched to better quality meats/dairy (Grass fed/Organic). Since Oct 1st this is 80-90% why my health and physique has greatly improved! I’ve been a distance runner forever but since late last year I’ve transitioned to weights, focusing on upper body and back, so the combination of my diet and weight training has been such an addicting experience💪🏼 I’m 27, 6ft, about 160-165lbs, and continuing to build, keeping definition/staying lean, but incorporated “fun food” twice a week now. In your vid its refreshing to know you still eat sweets but still improve and maintain!

The one thing I like about this is that you show how balanced your diet is to stay lean and shredded . I like the fact that you allow to have treats now and then and stay in constant calorie maintenance and deficit . It proves how easy it and yet it’s about time and patience people do go to over extreme with there diets and training is to why most people tend to fail al the time . Thank you for your video I enjoyed it . 👍💪

You’re the man!! Appreciate you a ton! 👊 yes it’s all depending on goals. I don’t have a strict diet. Think the best thing about this video is that it’s real. I can eat McDonald’s and still stay shredded, IF I stay in a deficit / maintenance. Now is that the healthiest way? Course not. Butttt it’s all a calorie game at the end of the day. Great video - thank you, much better than these influencers that suggest they never have treats etc Question for you - I hit protein target every day, but I attempt to have a 40/30/30 split and whilst I always hit protein my fat and carb macros seem to go up and down. Is this ok? Is one of them (fat/carbs) more important to avoid than the other? I find some days I’ve hit my protein target but gone over my fat target (still within caloric target).

I'll be 40 in a couple years and want to get my stomach tighter while maintaining/increasing the muscle I have. Should I try and get more than 240 g of protein daily?

You’re the man! Thank you bro! GOD first always 🕊️ it all depends with the protein.. like if you were consistently eating 140 g of protein, if I were your coach, I would have you consistently hit 180 for two weeks and then talk about upping it past 200 ya know? But yes, ideally in the future you should be eating over 200 g of protein.

Hey there ✌️ from what I underdstand there is creatine red meat / beef, But idk other sources that are vegetarian.. That said, I’m not an expert on the vegetarian protein sourced. Pea protein tends to be a big source.

Very informative video! Love it! Do you count calories or would you say you just make sure you hit the daily protein intake? 🔥
@BrianPruett
@BrianPruett 6 ай бұрын
I do but not at the moment. I’ve tracked and measured for months at a time 🤟 so generally, I know where I’m at protein wise through experience, intuition and similar meals I eat every day. I’d say one of the best skills you can learn with fitness is macro tracking to become aware of your weekly intake 🤟 hope this helps!

Hey man! Appreciate the content! How much protein per meal can our body absorb? I’ve heard it can’t take in more than 30g. How much do you try to get per meal?

Ty for being here 🤟 I haven’t seen evidence for that 🤷‍♂️ I’d rather get more than enough regardless but I would think that # per meal would be much higher than 30

You look great. I love that you give thanks. Have you ever thought about giving up alcohol completely. I am guessing the small amount you drink is worth the potential risks, I have given it up completely and don’t miss it at all. And I love the example I am setting for my kids. Don’t mean to be preachy, just curious. Thanks, great video.

Huge respect for you engaging on this. My simple response is the known negatives (cancer, heart health, mental health, etc. Huberman podcast along with CDC, world health) outweigh the perceived positives (social, relax, etc. I can get these w/o it). And if I had my choice I would have my kids learn to cope, relax, socialize, w/o the negative ramifications that come with alcohol. And the small chance they could become majorly addicted. I feel free, I feel unique. It is fun being the odd man out, a trail blazer. Interested in your thoughts

Love your tips, the only thing I would like to question is the plastic packaging of many of the snacks and foods shown. The issue of xeno hormones is growing, phtalates and other substances can be in packaging harming the body by hooking onto hormonal receptors like estrogen receptors and affect the whole hormonal system. The less plastic packaging, the better. Metal containers of steel or glas are much more sustainable for our environment and healthier too. No more tupperware or styrofoam.

I like food, like to eat, but I struggle to get in 200g of protein unless I eat a pound or more of chicken/steak and a couple of protein shakes. Yogurt is about 15g, eggs about 6g each x4, sliced turkey about 20g for 4 ounces, turkey bacon about 6g for 2 slices, one protein shake 25g and 8oz of chicken breast 46g. That's only about 136g of protein. I should mention I'm trying to lose fat so staying under a certain set of calories while hitting protein has been a challenge.
@BrianPruett
@BrianPruett 6 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s solid 👊 I’d trade in the 4 eggs for egg whites. So 2 real then pure protein whites to start.

@@BrianPruettLe Croix has natural flavors. Natural flavors only have to start with 1 natural ingredient, then they can take it back to a lab and add up to 100 synthetic flavors to enhance flavors. It is not regulated and therefore natural flavors are basically the same as artificial flavors. 60 Minutes did a show on natural flavors. Check it out.

Great question! Wow, I’d say start small. Begin by incorporating Some basic real foods on outskirts of grocery store. Nuts, meats, cheese, fruits & veggies. Focus on those more. Eventually stop buying so much of processed stuff until it’s bare minimum - fill up on good stuff and you’ll want the fake stuff less. Then just teach yourself how to bake, grill & sautee. Those are easy to learn through KZfaq even.
