New Subscriber. Nice little restoration of the boot (trunk if your from the US). I like the stealthiness of the subwoofer location. Curious to hear your thoughts on how the single 6" JL Audio sub sounds back there. I've tried various enclosures with single and multiple 10" JL Audio subs and the bass always sounds trapped and far away from the front stage. Looking forward to more content!🤙

Hey Craig. Thank you very much for the subscribe and the comments. It’s much appreciated. To be honest the bass is very subdued. It serves its purpose of rounding out the sound since I’m running 4 co-axles straight off the radio. Definitely not winning any sound competitions.

That came out great - loving your work. One tip for next time.. I’d recommend using fabric loom tape rather than electrical tape when you’re binding your new wiring. It doesn’t make a mess if you have to remove it, doesn’t melt if it gets warm, and most importantly doesn’t rattle/vibrate. Oh.. and gloves! 😂

I went through half a 5L Jack of that dye just doing the boot floor carpet! Just wouldn’t take, I’ve still got the side panels to do, maybe I need to brush on like you did, has it left an even finish???

Hey Mike. Yeah it’s really nasty to get it to stick. I finished it off with a fabric spray paint to get the even finish.

I tried the sound and it works, just couldn’t play the actual music in the video due to copyright issues.

Thank you. Unfortunately I don’t have the part number for you. I’ve just got a pack of generic grommets and grabbed one out of there.

Did you drill a hole for the amp power and ground cables? I just looked in my M3 and can’t see a hole for the cables to go through to allow the amp to side under the boot floor carpet panel?????!
