i had a "how to fly" dream as well and my process was a chant/ dance "I touch my toes, I reach the sky, I sprout my wings and then I fly!" and then I'd jump while saying "fly" and boom. Props to child me being able to somewhat rhyme in my dreams

I have this weird thing that almost every time I dream, I become aware that I'm dreaming at some point, and then the entire dream just "pauses" and I can choose whether to wake up or continue the dream. What I usually do is try to either change the dream to something else by imagining something else or walking in a different direction than what I was moving in during the dream to try to reach the edge of the "dream space" to see what happens. When I try to change the dream the changed dream is usually really vague and blurry compared to a normal dream, and every time I think I've reached the "wall" of my dream my head starts hurting and I wake up.

Whenever I have dreams, I just accept what they throw at me until I wake up. Recently I had a dream where I was stressed and anxious about failing a science class because I missed a group project and Jamestown was involved somehow. I actually had to think for a bit after waking up to realize the science class I'm taking doesn't have any group projects and Jamestown wouldn't be relevant. After that, I don't think I'll ever have a lucid dream since I never question the logic of my dreams.

so.. this is the oldest dream i remember when i had it i was 4 irl and in the dream(im 11 now).. The dream: I was playing on the road or something with my ''friends''(i didnt know them irl) the we went to the forest with no adults with us(great idea) to Explore*. All of my nightmares are orchestrated by a pretty chill monster dude. I call him Henry. He is a hairy, void-ish creature, levitating, about my height, no legs, two muscular arms, and a bunch of eyes from bottom to top. When I have a nightmare, he's there. Although, when I find him, I talk to him and tell him to stop. He's pretty chill, so he's just like, "Oh, okay. My bad."

Storytime! When I was a young child, I was staying somewhere with my parents, their friends, etc. I was about three or four so I don’t understand how I still remember the dream I had that night, but I’m guessing this was because it was my first proper nightmare. So, in the dream, there was a fire. Just a normal, under control fire, but for some reason it was…next to the trashcan in the kitchen? Anyway, it had arms, legs, and a mouth and nose. No eyes, though. The fire talked to me for a few minutes, then told me to get in the car, lead me outside and forced me in. I screamed and woke up. I think what probably caused this dream was the movie ‘trolls’ because the talking fire reminded me very strongly if the trolls with no eyes that appear in certain parts of the movies, though I didn’t realise this at the time. Also, the weird part is, I was about 90% sure I hadn’t seen trolls until a year or two later…but I could be wrong,
