that's as deep as we're going with the math, so don't panic.... there's no such thing (as modern tape) but let's pretend like there is. i wish i knew 10% of what this guy knows. brilliant and humble. such a gift to gain these insights.

Love hearing what Dave has to say - but not a fan of the different camera angles. Seems like you guys want to "speed up" his chit chat. Glad you're refining and trying new things. It might be smoother with just one angle, though.

Wow Tremendous depth with that Altiverb... I rarely use convolution reverbs to be honest... but that sounded great... now i know why its such an expensive plugin.

FYI Cytomic The Glue is the Glue Compressor found in Ableton Live. Enjoy! -PS I work with Dave, he made the edit choices!

Yeah but can you crank the Ableton version up to 16x oversampling? The Ableton glue compressor is great but I think the full version of The Glue has loads more features. Well worth the money.

How do you set up an aux like this in Ableton?

You just create a new return channel and add the desired effects. Then send a specific amount of a track to the return using the corresponding send knob!

worst sounding snare everrrrr....but it is 2018 so I'll have to trust Dave on what's poppin...that clairphonic must be one of a handful of hardware Dave uses
