AN 11-year-old boy with a rare form of dwarfism is one-in-a-million. Levi Krystosek, 11, has a rare form of dwarfism called Jansen Metaphyseal Chondrodysplasia, which affects the growth of bones and causes considerable pain, meaning he is only 38 inches tall. There are approximately only 30 known cases of JMC in the world, and five genetically confirmed cases in the US.

Wow thanks for all the likes guys! Levi's in great hands and is gonna have a great life, I know because I live about 10 minutes from Nemours, it is an amazing facility, and they will do absolutely everything they can for him.

Felix Green I think all the doctor visits have something to do with that bc of all the medical words and just the medical world in general. It catches on and he learns from all that. I'm not saying that's the only And main reason I'm just saying that MAY be why he's very aware and has a lot of knowledge for someone his age

I love how the doctor talks to Levi directly about the medical stuff. So often doctors speak only to the parents and the kids are made to be passive participants in their own care. This was great. What a cool kid Levi is.

OOF, as someone who also has scoliosis, I must say when they said this cutie had it, I about fell off my chair. Honestly, I'm so sorry for you, dude. Scoliosis sucks. But I'm glad you're making the most of your life! Good luck, little man! Oh, and P.S. man, you're doing much better on the brace thing than I ever did. I had to have surgery real quick real smooth because wearing the brace was NOT something I wanted to do. Oh, and keep in mind surgery isn't as bad as it sounds. Looks like you're with a good team of doctors and you have a shining personality and can-do positive attitude, so you'll be out of the hospital in no time!

I have health issues, and I have to admit at times I feel sorry for myself. After watching some of the videos I feel ashamed of myself. These kids are so strong. I wish I could be that strong. It is an inspiration for sure.
