I got out of collecting bags years ago when I passed them to my daughter. I never wore any of them, because I didn’t buy to match my style. You live and learn 🤷🏼‍♀️ Last week we were cruising, and the ship had a WGACA. I had become unwell, and hubby popped into our suite with a like new classic 2017 speedy 30. It was heavenly. And it’s my style. I’m 5’9” 175lb with size 12 feet so the 30 is just perfect. It’s a little slouchy and beautifully neutral. I grabbed some d shackles, a brown guitar strap and a redundant 30 insert and now she’s ready to go as my daily wearer. I don’t plan on adding another, I’m retired now and just need the one. But I love the idea of dressing her up, I’ll check your store 😊 I feel so much more confident and relaxed this time around and am actually using and enjoying my piece. Thanks for helping reinvigorate my passion!

I think the extended zipper on a leather bag is absolutely necessary - otherwise it would stretch out too much. I bet the canvas ones keep their original zippers. And I never realized how good the bag tags look on these! It really makes a difference I think.

I've been going back and forth about getting a new speedy and that new extended zipper just sold me! I love to use my speedy for travel and sometimes its hard to get in and out of with the shorter zipper.

Fantastic video! I have followed your channel for a while more and it is my go-to source for info on LV products. With the longer/extended zipper, the LV speedy is certainly looking more attractive 😍 to me. My hubby got me the LV crafty lock-it flat slippers as a gift. Initially, I struggled with wearing it with other colors but realized that it works very well with neutrals like black, white, tan, brown or plain colored outfits. Any item from the LV crafty range is a perfect accessory to jazz up an otherwise understated monochrome look. Your bags are so beautiful, your taste is impeccable and your channel is just a blessing. I'm so glad the new Speedys have the longer zipper. Now you can get your long wallets in without issue. And your hand is not getting all scratched up on the zipper. They needed to make that change years ago and I'm glad they have done it. Like you, I hope it continues.

Love the longer zipper. Loved the rose colored bag, with the side pockets. Just loved it. I do not have a bag. But I still like watching you show all your bags. So glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video and that it's been a couple years, my guess is that you got the newer version of the DE which is the matte finish leather on the handles & strap. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and a LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather. How does the matte finish holding up on your speedy b nowadays? Do you have to baby it when using it? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!

I have the crafty speedy and I love it. It is a bit out there with the bright colour and print. But, i find it to be the most well made of all my speedy b25 bags. No regrets with this purchase at all.

Marquita, I’ve been longing for the W@H Collection Speedy with the black empriente leather. I was on the order list but my order was cancelled. I was sooooo bummed about it 😕. I have the opportunity to buy that one pre-loved; however, I recently got to see the Speedy 20 in the black empreinte leather with the chain straps and totally fell in love with it. Would you be willing to do a video with mod shots comparing the two???

I'm sooooo glad they extended the zippper, I got the 30 last christmmas and Ive not worn it yet, its just been on display in my closet, as a matter of Ive consider selling simply because of the length of the zipper but now that I know they have a larger , more accomdating bag , I'm very interested again!

Beautiful collection Marquita! I have the Speedy B 25 in Black Empriente leather. When I first saw it, it was already discontinued but I just had to have it. So I bought it pre-loved last year. It was my first LV Bag purchase and it’s one of my favorite bags of all time. ❤️

I love that your new LV bag has the larger opening, I wish they would switch them all over like that. That’s the one thing that has kept me from buying a speedy, the small opening. It’s hard to get things in and out and see what you need to down in there. Back in the day I had a fake speedy and I can remember the same thing about that opening, just too small. Like I said I hope they start making them all like that now so I can get one.
