If I’m not mistaken a study came out recently that suggests supersets or giant sets are less effective than giving yourself full rest for both strength and hypertrophy. I can try to find it if your interested. I do supersets as well for my assistance work because I’m short on time in the gym, but if you have the time it’s possible that supersets are not optimal

Yes! Because I do a whey protein isolate shake after every workout but I get DOMS so bad especially on squat days. I'd love to know ways to minimize this.

I loved this video and love your program!! You're definitely a beast with your focus and intensity while you train. Very admirable. Plus I like the message you send about maintaining femininity while being physically strong. :) I've personally never been a fan of OHP and bench in the same workout. Whatever you do first, preexhausts the other. I like doing horizontal push/pull in one upper and vertical push/pull in the other upper.

I do similar strength sets but I do superset everything. My final giant set always has mobility in it. Like animal flow stuff. I love to get my heart rate right up at the end of my workouts. Awesome vid 💪💪💪

If you are part of the program, keep an eye on the "Notes for the Week" section or the pinned FB announcements and they will tell you when the SBD merch is available. They don't put it up in the shop since it's for members only, just send links when they are ready to print some. They have done two as of right now, so hopefully they do another one soon!

Thanks for the hard work you put into this video. You look so much more comfortable and controlled with conventional deadlifts as well. Again I am so glad you abandoned the "quest for maximum lifts" that some people get caught up with. KZfaq is littered with the videos of such quests....

Great video- thanks for sharing your workouts. How did you deal with the slope of your garage when making your gym? (My garage is sloped to avoid possibility of flooding - is this only building code in my area 🤔)

A comprehensive video on working out around injuries/pain would be very helpful as well! ☺️ Right now I have left adductor (groin area) pain so I narrowed my wide squat stance, and I also switched from sumo to conventional DLs. But now I'm experiencing knee pain. 😔😓😩 😭 I don't want to stop doing squats or squat variations all together but any exercise that requires knee flexion and extension gives me knee pain. How am I supposed to get massive quads without squats???!? 😭😭😭

Hi Meg! Great video! very inspiring! Thank you for doing this! I am quite new to power lifting, running your Uplifted programme for the 2nd time. Need your a quick advise. Since i have started the Uplifted 10 weeks ago i have gained 6 kgs, mostly muscles but fat came along too :( is it supposed to be like that or i am doing something wrong? P.S. do my best to eat healthy :) Thanks in advance

Полина Калиева uplifted is really high volume - and in the program we recommend to eat to support it! I’d take a look at your protein intake and ensure you’re getting enough, then playing with your fat and carb sources - and try your best to get them from Whole Foods

megsquats thanks a lot for response. Frankly speaking I thought that I am overtaking the protein. Because apart from the normal food I am usually having a protein bar and protein shake on the day of training. Plus since I have started the programme I have noticed that my appetite has grown. I used to have 1 proper meal a day now I need all three. And my worry is that I am not burning as much as I am eating. Even though mostly I am having veggies. Anyways, thank you for advice, will check thoroughly my diet 😊. Have a great day! 💐

Any tips Or Recommendations for If The gym you use only has weights up to twenty kg guys and or gal strong friends? Max weight load possible is forty kg in my gym.. Its your basic hotel gym.. So frustrating as would love to lift heavier!! But transport restrictions and rural area make it difficult to attend a proper weights gym 😩 brilliant informative video as ever by you lovely Meg BIG THANK YOU 👏💛

Use one lim at a time: one leg deadlifts, Bulgarian split squat, shoulder press with one hand at a time and so on. Improves your mobility, body control and balance as well.

Broh i have the laziest work out routine. I just do hanging leg raises , pull ups, comando pullups, archer chinups, deadlifst, squats, burpees. Not all just what i feel like doing for the day when ever i want. In my pijamas before bed in themorning. Just when ever i pass by my closet.
