Kenyans are well respected in Ethiopia. I don’t know the reason why but, that’s a fact on the ground. I know Ethiopians generally show respect to everyone but there’s an obvious admiration for Kenyans for sure.

You are right that people fighting to get seats. When the light train operations began, there were 42 trains but after 3/5 years there became 29. Currently, they may be 9 or less due to lack of maintainance budgets

The light train safari was excellent apart from it being so crowded👍🏾 loved the pushing and heaving to get on, funny how Jacky demonstrated her muscle power to get the seat😂. Great show-casing snd promotion of this piece of infrastructure, they should pay you for the good work👍🏾

The first in Sub-Saharan Africa? The first passenger train in South Africa started to operate in 1860 in Durban. Since then, railway lines were established in all the cities. In South Africa passenger trains run nationally We even have Rovos Luxury train service from Cape Town to Tanzania, established in 1989.

Addis light rail is what Nairobi needs especially between Kilimani, Hurlingham, Lavington and the Nairobi CBD to cater for the population that will be staying in the rapidly cropping up high rise apartments.

may be it is a matter of luck to fly with outdated Ethiopian airlines plane. because most of the airplanes of ET are new. even their average age is smaller than most of american airlines.
@jacquelinemillАй бұрын
Yea actually only the Airbus were a bit outdated (which we used for short flights) but the Boeings (that were used for the long flights) were all looking good, I forgot to mention that.
