OMG i just tried your method and I did it in like 10 minutes?! I have this super fine Scandinavian hair so it's probably A LOT thinner than yours but otherwise pretty much the same length and colour. Damn my hair have never been this fancy for such little effort haha

I’m a cosmologist ( I was a theater/film hair and wig mistress) you can use a regular curling iron just use a larger barrel curling iron . It will do the same thing. Also if you do the curl, and then while it’s still warm, wrap it around your fingers and pin the curl with a Bobby pin or an alligator clip. Let it sit for about 15 or 20 min. You will have lovely curls that last for a while. When you go to bed, twist your hair into a bun and put it on the top of your head and secure it with a scrunchie. The next day you will still have some really fantastic curls.

I have been using function of beauty for the entirety of the pandemic and my hair hasn’t ever looked this great. It has a nice shine and it’s really grown a lot. And my curls are more defined. I love all their hair products.

i just tried it out and it is so amazing!!! i curl my hair almost everyday and it doesn’t last for more than maybe 2 days and FREDDY!!! this method is SO MUCH BETTER i absolutely love it and it just looks like i’ve been to the salon! 💗

Such a lovely and princess-like curl, I’m absolutely in love 😍 I’ve actually been using this hair spray called Kenra Working Spray 14 and it does so well holding my hair/never giving it that terrible “crunch” feeling from other hair sprays. I’m not sure if you can get it in London as I live in the US, but I definitely would recommend trying it out if you can!

I wish you’d shown the sausage bun how to 🥲 I try and do it and my curls just go weird and off kilter by the morning! X

1. Scoop all the hair up to the top of the head (so the bun will land on the crown) and hold in one hand like you;re about to put a hair bobble on it 2. twist the pony tail with the bobble hand until it turns into one big twist and starts twisting in on itself 3. twist it into the bun shape on the top of your head and fasten with scrunchie 4. if you know your hair will likely escape the scrunchie, put 4 bobby pins in it in the shape of a cross to keep it secure. Hope that helps, might need a shake out in the morning but it usually works for me when i do full on ringlets and also when I brush them into hollywood curls by like day 2/3 :)

@@noniew0lf I also had this problem as my right and left hair has opposite curl direction (away from my side). I found that twisting them into a bun in the middle would shape one side better and "destroy" the other one, so i just put them in two separate buns. works perfectly

omg i was literally searching how you do your hair last week and now you have delivered :D (Also - If Brad roasts your hair, I dare you to roast his outfits haha) Also as someone who's HYPER precious about their hair, I know for a fact it's much better to simply curl hard in one go rather than do it half arsed and have to redo it over the week. Either way, hair mask is always essential and also like... treat yourself yaknow? If one wanted to do this heatless, I think pin curls and a setting lotion or mousse would be the best way to go and brace yourself for a brush out that could go either way! There's loads of vintage pin curl videos, but Lopsie has experimented with a lot of different techniques and household items if you're in Camp Heatless (she's also lovely!)
