My old man had lymphoma when he was 35. Log time ago. He survived , but treatments are much better now. Hope all is well. You actually keep your cool in traffic. I've been riding since the 70's and I've about had with all these bastards. Some broad took me out last Sept. and busted my elbow. Got pissed off and bought a new Z900. Keep that good attitude and you'll prevail.

I had Leukemia at the age of 5 and they caught it in Tim and I’m 18 today I thank the lord everyday for that. I honestly don’t think any kid should go through it from my experience. It is scary it’s not fun.

Honest stories like that give me chills. I have an extreme fear of cancer. Last year I had frequent headaches and was not feeling well. At the same time a person in my street (I’m in a small rural village) passed away from a brain tumor. I’ve never had fear of diseases before but hearing her story changed something in me. After that I started believing that I actually could have cancer. I looked all over the internet for symptoms and such and that’s when I started to become depressed. It was lockdown in Germany so I didn’t see anyone and I just stopped calling any of my friends. I spend all day in my room thinking „well, I’m probably gonna die so why should I care anyways“. After a few months went by I started talking to a girl from my class. She noticed something was very not right with me since I’ve always been a happy person. I told her about all my issues and she told me to seek the school counselor. I then started talking to the counselor and she told me to tell my parents since I was 16 at that time. When I did my dad set up an appointment at a neurologist who is also a psychiatrist. He did a full check on me and found that I’m completely healthy. He then started talking to me about my symptoms and I told him the second I hear about symptoms they seem to get worse. I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and given medication. Since then I haven’t had any symptoms and I haven’t had that much fear of getting a disease. It turned out my anxiety started when I was 13 and my eyes got worse. At that time I somehow thought I was gonna go blind and that scared me for over a year. I never talked to anyone about it because the only time I did I got told of by my mum for being silly. When I started taking the medication a literal nightmare happened. My parents told me that my grandpa has had cancer for 4 years and refused treatment. Why they never told me that before I will never know. And turns out he developed an aggressive brain tumor as well (exactly the thing I was afraid of). And it was clear he was gonna die soon. And well he did. 3 months after they found the brain tumor he died suddenly of heart failure. I was glad that I’ve had my medication. Otherwise I don’t know what would have happened. I might have even tried killing myself because it was that bad. I’m still not back to my old self and the time that I spend depressed and thinking I was sick messed up my grades at school and good education is everything in Germany. It’s unclear what I’m gonna be able to do for work, this year will be a deciding factor. At least I’m getting my license by December and I am finally drive the car I bought this year. As for you, while I don’t like your road rage at all, I’m glad that you managed to beat the cancer you’ve had and I really hope that it won’t ever return and I’m glad you shared that story. And it’s really a shame that you had to pay some stuff out of your own pocket, as a German I’ll never get how the US just let’s it’s citizens that cannot afford insurance down like that. Here in Germany you have free healthcare. This is one of the reasons why I will never understand why my grandpa refused the free treatment for a curable cancer.

I've been living with stage 4 metastatic bone cancer for six years now, incurable but stable with palliative treatment. The diagnosis was a bit of a shock after a few years remission; fortunately my GP sent me for x-rays, followed by CT, MRI and full-body bone scans, within three weeks of seeing him in his surgery. Listening to your story, the general practitioner you saw initially let you down badly, by wasting time better spent in referrals to oncology, not you having a dermatologist giving you the diagnosis and referral. That, to me, is appalling. I'm English, and have the NHS to look after me, and every day I thank them, because they have kept me alive, all the way from the original stage 3 found in 2001, and they're still looking after me. Frankly, if I were American, I don't think I would have survived it the first time! Treatments are improving all the time, and yours may return, in the future, but treating you for it should be a lot easier by that time. Best wishes to you!

Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad you were pissed to go work that day. Only because you're still here to go to work, ride your bike, make videos....just glad you're ok man. I myself love riding but I ride mostly MX. About 3 months ago I crashed pretty hard on the ice and broke 3 ribs. While they were looking at my chest x-rays they found a spot. So I ended up getting a MRI. Turns out I have stage 1 lung cancer. Apparently the survival rate is better than 50% because it's "localized", but I have shitty luck. I'm 39 with 3 awesome kids and I'm scared to tell them. I'm trying to stay positive, and if it wasn't for that crash I wouldn't have found out til it was far too late as I don't go to the Dr unless a bone is sticking out or I'm close to death. You story gave me a better outlook, and I really appreciate that man. Hopefully I ride with ya one day.

I knew by the last video the bright energy you had with mr salt. I knew you had gone throu a scary time in life. I use to be a lil brat growing up that my mom nicknamed me Badger. Long story short. My mom was diagnosed in 2013 with Stage 4 colon cancer- after 3 major stomach surgeries and chemo and radiation she passed in 2017 in my arms. But since that day I couldn’t stop smiling and have become a better human being that people thoight I was stoned 24/7 cause I was trying to find the hope and brightness in everything with a good laugh helps. I used to think going to work was horrible, i got into an accident on my motorcycle back in August, (was cut off and ran over by a truck and trailer) im halfway crippled and had to relearn to walk, my surgeon said my recovery time is about 1.5-2 years before im almost normal, i cant work the jobs im able to apply for, and let me tell you, I MISS WORKING lol, awsome story though man, thanks for sharing!
