Math has figured out something that a lot of folks doing this sort of thing has not, LET THE GUEST TALK!!.. I love the format, it's great.

Math's focus is so on point. He be letting them run off on tangents for 10 minutes and then he'll circle it back to right where they was at. Mad skills in this game!!

Man, so happy Mike got to speak on this platform and people would just listen to him, make intelligent question and not cut him off. You notice right away that he is intelligent and also very emotionally aware. Happy to see him found peace with himself and in a place of joy.The Drink Champs one was him trying to get heard but overshadowed by buffoonery. Nore is entertaining, but not it for Mikes story. Mic Geronimo knows how to paint a picture with stories. He really showed how the early 90s was a special era. The culture and the music had a special texture that in a way had peaked and was done when Diddy really touched it. It was still a good time after that, but a type of integrity and vibe had left the building.

He had more chemistry on this platform than he did on Drink Champs. I enjoyed this more

I swear!!! This interview made me realize how fucked up and traumatic the 80s and 90s were to so many of us growing up in the tri-state! Between the trauma Mike experienced losing his mom and family, to trauma living with other family members, and the trauma of growing up in the streets and having to live with a "mask" to survive in the jungle and not be eaten alive by friends and foes, and the jungle that is the record industry...man...no wonder this man disappeared. He was battling demons fr fr!! 🙏 like so many of us...Mic Geronimo is an inspiration to me

Mic Geronimo always gives great interviews. He has a great story that many can relate too. From family members passing away at an early age to family members bringing him down by teasing him. From entering the music industry with a huge buzz & lots of love to finding out people show their true colors when money is involved. He overcame all of that and he's inspiring others by letting them know they are not the only ones. Mic Geronimo should write a book about his life and experiences in the music industry.

It sounds like Large Pro was trying to make Mic into the next Large Pro, or even an improvement, which is wild to think about. LP os a genius, he must have really seen greatness in Mic. What a stort. Another classic ep!

My mom and family are from LI, we moved to FL when I was in 1st, and I returned for nursing school at Aldelphi. My uncle lived in Flushing on Roosevelt. I visited and stayed with him when I did my clinicals at Booth Memorial. I just called him to tell him Mike keeps mentioning Flushing and I'm lost because I didn't know blacks were in Flushing. All I saw were whites and Asians. He laughed and schooled me.

One of the best stories and podcast interviews on MEO! I always wondered what happened to Mic Geronimo. I can still visualize him in the Flava in Ya Ear Remix. Mic G is an intelligent cool brother and can see why everyone took a liking to him. He pictures a very vivid story and the ending was priceless. And even the MEO chair heads were captured by his story…even BIGGA LAUGHED TOO!

The thing I've learned in the past two episodes. Is that these records companies were just feeding habits while robbing. Artist's blind and they damping it up and glorifying this bs till this day.

This is a really dope interview. It blew my mind when Mic and Esso started talking about Pan Pan on 135th And Lenox Avenue. That's the same place Alicia Keys made the video for You Don't Know My Name before the restaurant burned down. I always wanted to eat there but never got the chance.

One thing that I've noticed about Math's "My Expert Opinion" is that the stories you hear from a lot of classic hip-hop artists and groups is that their upbringing is just as fascinating as the music they created, especially when it's intertwined with other hip-hop artists. I've heard Q-Tip talk about Ol' Dirty, Lauryn Hill, and Andre 3000 and Mic Geronimo talk about Large Pro and Redman. Math Hoffa's podcast is one of the *ILLEST* if not the *ILLEST* when it comes to the history of hip-hop greats and the classics they produced.
