Nisha, no two eyes are the same. You look very pretty and I wouldn't waste one second of my time worrying about what might be a mm difference in the inner part of both upper lids. If it were me, I wouldn't tempt fate by going back just to make a minimal difference. I can't even see it!

I have the story about a friend I used to have. She was 65 years old. She was married to a man where they would fight, and he would cheat on her. She was a real stunner when she was young she would constantly talk about how men were always stopping the car and whistling at her, and by the picture she showed me I can really see why not many women are blessed to have that type of looks. every time we got together for breakfast, she would talk about women’s looks and how beautiful they are and how she wish she would look like that again and it would be where they can hear her other people can hear her. It was so embarrassing. There was never time when beauty never came up, I felt like I was constantly having to feed her ego . Then when she met my husband and saw how good-looking he was, she had to remind me that I wasn’t as good as he was. Our whole relationship was about her looks and how she had a lot of money she would rather spend it on getting young again, then her retirement and enjoying her life. even as I’m writing this right now, I feel so sorrowful for the women who turned heads in their younger years and they still want that feeling again, but no matter how much surgery you have it doesn’t fix the inside and the fact we all will get old in an actuality getting old is a privilege not many get to experience. I have been thinking of that friend I had she would be in her Late 70s now, and I pray when she looks in the mirror, she sees her true beauty and every wrinkle that she’s earned and every tear that she’s cried.🦋🦋

I totally agree with you. A close friend who is a therapist once told me his saddest clients were who had one been headturning. They defined themselves by their looks and could not handle the natural diminishing of them. Aisha, you are really lovely, before or after any surgery.

I feel sorry for really good looking (men as well as women) people, as they seem to end up building their whole life on their looks, they feel better than others, and when their looks fade, they really feel it, they loose their self worth and self confidence, and Yes, they do end up leaching comments/compliments of their beauty from friends, flirt with all men (even best friends husbands!) Because of their need to still feel wanted.. feel sorry for her, but don't trust her around your husband!! .... and luckily, not our Nisha, she's a happily married woman, critical of her looks yes, but not obsessed... we do have all these fancy injections, treatments, surgery, etc...and the money made off it, they keep pressure on women to believe they need it!!

The most important apect of beauty is on the inside. How we look externally is just a matter of opinion. What one person finds physically attractive, another will find unattractive. Kindness, helping others, contributing to society, loyalty, honesty. Those are the true reflections of whether someone is a beautiful person.

I recently (6 weeks ago) had upper and lower blepharoplasty. While I am happy with the results, I wish there were more videos that showed the possible complications. I had a lot of persistent swelling and redness in my cheeks post surgery. I had to go on steroids for a week to bring it down. I also developed fibrous tissue directly under my lower eyelids that is preventing my lower eyelids from moving when I try to squint or smile. The surgeon is having to put injections every few weeks to help dissolve it. I still don't regret having the surgery, but my recovery has been quite bumpy compared to many of the videos I watched before I decided to have the surgery myself. We are always our own worst critics, and something that we obsess over is not even noticeable by others. You were beautiful before, and you're beautiful now!

It's a wonderful surgeon who can correct what you want corrected, and still keep you looking perfectly natural. Your surgeon did a super job! And, please know that no one's eyes/eyelids are perfectly symmetrical; there are subtle differences to everyone's eyes (start looking around at women and you'll see what I mean). I am happy that you were able to do this for yourself. I am saving up for the lower bleph next winter. Remember, there is no perfection. Our eyes, feet, are different sizes even if so slightly. The side by side photos really showed us the difference. It's important to give yourself some slack. You look amazing ...99.9 percent better than most of us. Your eyelashes look more lush because you don ’t have the weight of your hood resting on them anymore. I had always had long lashes but in my early 50s I could barely see them no matter how much mascara I plastered on 😅. I realised the lashes were still long but now had the weight of excess skin resting on them. My blepharoplasty worked wonders and I got my lashes back. 15yrs later and I’m still good. When you show the before and after photos, you can really see the difference. You always know how to enhance your features beautifully and the changes are subtle but very effective and I wouldn’t stress about small details- you will notice them far more than anyone else! None of us are perfectly formed or have identical characteristics on each side of our faces and you are blessed with such a pretty face anyway! @@karenhurrell8796 I agree with you and there are so many life saving surgeries which are, of course, incomparable with cosmetic surgeries. Personally, I would never opt to go under the knife for aesthetic purposes and perhaps courage is the incorrect noun to use in this particular instance. However, any hospital procedure can be daunting and nerve wracking and I don’t think Nisha underwent this blepharoplasty without a lot of forethought and research beforehand. She is fully aware that it was something she did voluntarily and for enhancement purposes and I’m certain she would never compare her experience with major surgery as she is always honest and upfront with her subscribers.

Hi Nisha, I wanted to come on here and comment and tell you that I think you were so beautiful even before your procedures! I think the results are stunning!! Nobody’s eyes are perfectly asymmetrical. I am so happy for you that you were able to do this for yourself! ❤️ However, I assisted in plastic surgery with a plastic surgeon for years. If you’re not happy make him fix it!!! It shouldn't be at your expense either! I had a nose The doctor left my nose extremely crooked! I was too young to have the guts to ask him to fix it and now I'm stuck with a horribly crooked nose! You're the only one who can decide if you are happy with the results. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nisha, I think it is perfectly understandable and reasonable that you had high expectations in regards to your bleph procedure. After all, you went through surgery, recovery and the cost of the surgery. In six months or a year the asymmetry might not bother you as much, it also might not be as noticeable as you have more time to heal, but if it does you can always get it tweaked. I think your eyes look really good!

Thank you for detailed explanation. You could be 100% satisfied because the 2 things you are unhappy about are/were unrealistic expectations, as you mentioned. Your surgeon did a great job, certainly knows what he is doing. You look beautiful! I have seen your videos from when you started the channel and you are aging very successfully.

I think you look great Nisha. When I had upper and lower eyelid surgery a few years ago, I had a similar problem with old filler moving and causing swelling under one eye. The surgeon dissolved the filler and then did a fat transfer to give some undereye volume. Dissolving the filler wasn't pleasant but I'm very happy with the result.

Looking at the before and after pics now. I definitely see a noticeable difference after your eye surgery. Your eyes definitely look more round and wide eyed. Very pretty look. I noticed in this video, this procedure seemed to have sparked your confidence even more. Your surgeon has done a great job. You mentioned the inner eyelid. Like you said, you could try alittle Botox and see what results you get. If it still bothers you, give yourself more time to see how feel, before going back to your surgeon. I'm sure there is still a certain amount of healing that still needs to happen before you see the full results of your eye surgery in about another 6 months. Your surgeon sounds amazing, he explained and answered all of your questions and concerns very well. I definitely see a difference more today than when you last posted. It's lovely that you feel you don't need to wear eye makeup everyday to hide your hoods. To me, that's a huge positive you've gained from having the eye surgery. Have a wonderful day Nisha Hope Loui is doing well.

Hi Nisha! I think I would have had the same expectations as you. But when you think about it, I think it's more appropriate not to change drastically. It has to be realistic and as natural as possible for our eye shape. Since you've always had a problem from a very young age, I think it might have been too obvious. That's why when there's too much change, it often doesn't give good results and can even completely change our identity. I think the result is great and that when we look at you, we see too much change! You look great like this and I think your surgeon did a wonderful job! Have a good end of the week! xxx

I so appreciate your explanation! It helps me manage my own expectations as I've been thinking about the same surgery. I just recently saw in my photos that I've always had hooded eyes like yours. I never realized it until I digitized and sorted all of my photos. After looking over photos from birth I finally started seeing what had changed in my features. It was quite a shock to realize I'd never had big lids because that's not what I remembered about doing my makeup.

I think you look fabulous! I had some major plastic surgery 3 years ago (not to my face...I had tummy tuck, some lipo and breast augmentation) and managing expectations is a BIG deal and incredibly difficult. When we go to extreme measures such as surgery we have an "ideal" in our heads that often doesn't match up to the reality of our bodies and our anatomy. I don't know a lot about the surgery you had to your eyes but you're still only 2 months post op. Maybe you're not quite yet at what your final result will be? Regardless, you're an incredibly beautiful woman and your eyes look amazing! 3 years post op for me and I STILL occasionally think, maybe I'll get some 360 lipo or go back for the breast lift I should've done initially. As women I think most of us compare ourselves to something or someone else and wish our features were some other way. I haven't ruled out making some "tweeks" to my body but so far I've resisted the urge because I've realized I could go down the never ending rabbit hole of trying to reach unattainable, unrealistic goals. I try to focus now on how amazing my body is. I'm strong and healthy for my age, (I'm almost 56) I'm not on any medication, I work full time as a nurse and my body allows me to do that, I have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grand child and I'm out here slaying life on my own. If I don't nitpick at myself I'm rocking my life and incredibly happy! Keep being the incredible woman you are. I sooo adore watching your videos! Stay fabulous! 😘

I think you look fabulous! Don’t over analyze it! I had just an upper blephroplasty almost 4 weeks ago. I still have dark bruises under my eyes! I’m glad I did it, but our eyes are definitely not exactly the same! I also have a bumpy scar on my left eye. I’m hoping the scar cream will help with that. It’s not as easy of a surgery as it looks!

Hi Nisha! I had an upper bleph in April of 2023 and my outcome was very similar to yours. However, I honestly love hooded eyes, I just didn’t like the loose skin hanging down, so I purposely chose a very conservative surgeon who would only remove the excess skin. But like you, one of my eyebrows sits a tad lower, and it’s also the eye he took a tad less skin from, so post surgery it’s slightly more hooded. But that eye has always been slightly more hooded, even when I was younger, and I actually prefer it over the other. Lol! . But at first, I was totally fixated on the difference. Some days I do still notice the difference more than others, but as the months have gone by I really think they’ve begun to even out. But despite the slight unevenness I am still thrilled about my results! And I think you should be too! You look beautiful! 😍 You still look like yourself just more refreshed and happy! 😁 My husband always tells me, “When people look at you they take in the big picture, they’re not dissecting the details.” ❤️🤗

You are so beautiful and you beauty is natural and it radiates from within your soul! I think the surgeon did a fantastic job. You still look like your natural, beautiful self, just more refreshed! I would never advise you to have the little issues that are currently concerning you fixed; this is a decision you need to make based entirely on your own personal perception and feelings. But, after living with your "new" eyes for awhile, I suspect you will decide they look fantastic just the way they are!

Your surgeon was excellent and you do look like you, only better : ) Had my blepharoplasty in 1977 (age 25), because drooping lids ran in my family to the point that as we aged it impaired our vision. Surgery back then was much more crude and I lost a lot of hair on the sides of my head that has never grown back, but otherwise loved the results. (They never explained the staples on either side of my head that caused the hair loss so if anyone out there knows, I'd love to hear.)

They look fabulous! You don’t want more out of the corners- that’s where people get that “hollow” look that makes your eyes look old - NO! Lots of surgeons here in US are now trying to fix that exact problem for their patients from previous surgeries. And eyes are not naturally Symmetrical so forget that, please. You have a beautiful, youthful result- YAY!!

Your surgery came out wonderfully. I think I would let it go for that small area as I couldn't notice and I know how itis when you notice it but even without makeup, I would have never noticed it. You look FABULOUS honey. Thank you for the full transparency. I may decide to do the eyes too. I have been diagnosed with Dry Eye syndrome. The lowers are 10% functional with oil glands. It's caused by staring at computers, phones, tablets, and not blinking. It's a thing. Particularly in the SF Bay area. The high-tech mecca. Even children are undergoing IPL treatments. I'm under IPL therapy with red/blue/green light therapy at the end. There are three steps and it's a 2 hour appointment. With that, I may skip the lowers after listening to your experience. So thank you! I'll also look into your supplement as I've been doing Flaxseed and omegas. Ty xoxo

while I do understand and respect the fact that you are not 100 % happy with your results, I think your surgeon did a fantastic job making your eyes younger , and still keeping your features intact....it is an art I think, to do that . Most celebrities that get surgery get such drastic procedures done that change their features in such a way that they look like different people and yes, weird. you look like YOU, like a refreshed version of you ! I think you look beautiful , and if I knew I would get results like yours, I would have surgery tomorrow. much love to you 😍😊😊

Curious to hear about your Botox correction experience as that is what my dermatologist recommended for the same high eyebrow corner issue due to my hooded eyes. Be careful when seeking too much symmetry as that’s when we perceive people looking weird because we are not truly symmetrical naturally. You look gorgeous!
