the easy way to get the hose off is just cut it with a razor blade not like ur going to use it and put 2 hose clamps on it and when u put a new fuel seal put vaseline on it and let it soak in the rubber for a few days it will last a lot longer that way

I'd stick with the F-100 badges for the moment and maybe renovate the F-800 badges to use when you've done what you're planning to the truck in the future to make it stand out a little more. Keep those F-100 badges in good shape and you can probably get your money back for them, being original Ford parts, when you don't need them any more...

I removed the fuel tank in the cab and went with a fuel cell. I knew a couple of guys who were in accidents that ended up sitting in the fuel tank. For safety reasons I just pulled mine out.

Paraffin wax works pretty good for stopping squeaks and you won't get greasy when you touch it

I believe silicone spray works amazing for this and i think it dries super quick. This should help with any hose connection and it makes them easy to take off after. Cool video and like how it went. Poor lil coupling though. Wish the lifetime was a little longer for them

I would change it , less prone to breakage should it happen and that seat back lock is for if you slam on the breaks , you don't get slammed by the back of the seat ... just a thought

So this might be a stupid question, but how did you mount the seat belts in your truck. I have to put some in my truck and I'm not sure how to mount them. Do you just take out one of the bolts holding the seat down and place the seat belt mount between the seat mount and the floor then put the bolt back in, or do you actually have to drill a hole in the floor to be able to mount them?

It's not really that dent sides cabs are a hair bigger that the seat works like that it's that dentsides like mine have the gas tank in the bottom of the bed not the cab so you have a ton of space behind the seat #themoreyouknow

don,t use LMC for anything rubber. it,s cheap china junk. there is a old Ford parts dealer in Oklahoma. i can,t remember their name. i got two of the gas filler neck rubbers from them. it said Made in the U.S.A.on the bag. when you and your friends got to the swap meet or to the junkyard. keep an eye out for 1967 Ford hood badges. no one that i know of repops them. also if you see 1967/1969 camper special badges they are a script style badge. you can google it to find out what they look like. they are highly sought after . no one repops them either . they go for stupid money on evilbay. i vote for the f-800 badges just to mess with peoples minds. Dennis Carpenter repops the custom cab badges. they came red or black.
