I remember when I saw this movie, I was 19. I was so convinced Keaton was Soze the way the Cop was spinning the story. My heart was beating at the emotions in that room, how Kint started crying because he didn't want to believe it. And then the moment when he left and the Cop started putting the story together from the lies, my hearr literally sink and I stopped breathing as the realization started to slowly creep in, my heart was beating And I said "Why would Kint lie...?" and when his crippled walk straighten out, I almost fucking lost it. Utter shock. And the way he ended the movie with that line.. "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was making people believe he wasn't real.... And just like that *poof* He was gone." Masterful. It's amazing the first time u watch this movie without it being spoiled. At first I did not get it but the slow motion & the cup dropping I knew something big was happening than the dialog matching up with things on the wall I was like holy s%it ! Then the picture coming in & its kint the best was the walk from a cripple to normal. Just wow. U wish u could relive that moment again. As others have said a twist ending was not a thing like today. I think Hitchcock films were done earlier but I had not seen them at my age . I was like 14 when this came out. Then m. Knight shyamalan did his big twist which I had the same reaction too. At first ur like wait what's happening then when it clicks ur like wow. I think m. Knight should have stopped with the big twists after unbreakable. It's not only that it's impossible to keep topping the first one but people are now expecting it. Even if it's good which they werent. The beauty of a twist obviously is not seeing it coming at all. Like when I saw signs which I did like I was waiting for the twist. It was the last movie he did that was not horrible. The last movie I gave up on m. Knight was the village. The movie was not good & ok the ending was a twist but not really memorable. I heard lady in the water was bad & the happening was horrendous. Split I avoided bc I watched a soap all my life where all the characters had d.i.d. ( alter egos or dissociative identity disorder )

Realmente es una pelicula muy llena de trama intelectual que nos atrae a querer conocer el final ! Que los policias y la justicia aprenda mucho con esta metragem policriminal! Hasta luego!

This is probably the best gangster movie of all time.

It's more of a Hitchcockian movie than a gangster movie!

PS. Compare THIS Movie to whatever movies are TODAY - all CGI-BULLCRAP and "superhero"-stuff with no plot - no drama - no real suspence whatsoever - only special effects - but with tons of over-the-top political correctness and "actors" that are steroid-junkies. They couldn't even make ONE SCENE of this movie with the "stock" of actors we got today in hollywood. This whole movie instead is all a mind-trick and a plot that THICKENS - PERFECTLY EXECUTED by AWESOME Actors > Kevin Pollak - Benicio DelToro - Gabriel Byrne - Stephen Baldwin - Kevin Spacey - Chazz Palminteri and Pete Postletwaithe.
