Such powerful voices, such woven harmonies, such beautiful Leading Ladies (Audra Macdonald, Marin Mazzie, Judy Kuhn) - this was a treat!

So sad to hear about the death (from ovarian cancer) of Marin Mazzie at age 57, today. She was a brilliant star on Broadway.

Three QUEENS. All exceptional, all gifted with beautiful voices.

We know separately they are outstanding, but when they merge their voices it is beyond brilliant!!! Love them all!! ❤

Rest In Peace Marin, you are amazing.

I have watched this over 1,000 times and it always entertains. I am for ever grateful for Marin Mazzie for her beautiful vocals, when she sing this the hairs on my arms stand up . RIP

Wonderful! This is from "My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies", a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall, September 28, 1998. The whole concert is on KZfaq. From Playbill: " a highlight of the concert is the arrangement of what's called "The Lloyd Webber Love Trio," with Audra McDonald, Marin Mazzie and Judy Kuhn separately singing "Love Changes Everything," "Unexpected Song" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him," respectively. The songs are then merged in a sensuous arrangement."

I first heard this song when I went to reno to a magic show and the magician loved musicals and sang songs and this was one. This his name was Darien Romeo

I have loved this amazing performance from the first time I saw it. Three amazing ladies with amazing voices.

Funny you titled this under Audra McDonald. This isn't her greatest performance and not especially suited for her. Ms. Mazzie and Ms. Kuhn made her sound strident in her falsetto comparatively, not to mention that she couldn't maintain her last note. Audra is GREAT, but this isn't her moment.

someone needs to hear Michael Ball sing this song the way it was intended. Audra is breathy and short noted at several points. A very talented singer, but certainly not the standard for this song. PS. These other women sing a different type of song. Listen to the clarity and the projection, Audra was lucky to get through it at points.

Audra far out-classes the other two, but they make up for it with passion.

Not one of Audra’s better performances. Those notes in “like” and “last” were hit horribly. I expected much better. :-(
