Loved this video--as I do ALL your videos! I need to put my Tombow markers where I can reach them. I tend to forget about them! One tip I learned from watching Sandy Allnock is that you can use your blender pens to blend colored pencil. I have several blender pens and they all seem to work well. I've actually used them to blend cheapy colored pencils in a pinch, like when I don't want to travel with my big set of Prismacolors. Have blender pen, will travel! If any viewers are looking for great colored pencil tutorials, Sandy Allnock is fabulous!

Jennifer, thank you so much for all of the time and effort you put into these each year. They are so thoughtfully put together, and I always end up finding something I love that I didn't know about. This year, so far, my big find from your video was Lil' Inkers. I had never heard of them, but I looked through the site and ended up getting a ton of stuff. I love the style of their images, and I found a ton of sentiments that were so unlike most of what I've seen before. Thank you! You are appreciated. :)

Another fantastic MFCT video Jennifer! I never would have thought to use the Dove Blender Pen with my Distress Inks! I thought I would also mention that the Prismacolor Premier Pencil Blender Colorless Blender is also an awesome blender pencil that comes in a 2-pack for a good price! I picked this tip up from Nichol and it too is amazing! TFS Jennifer.....gentle hugz, Nancy

Thank you, Jennifer. I'm new to card making and coloring. I have been using sets of Sharpies and Bic markers and some inexpensive colored pencils. I haven't tried any type of water color technique so far. Your suggestions will help me a great deal.

Great video Jennifer w/ tons of useful info...Liked the info for the Bristol; I have the same pad but good to know I can use for so much more. :) I recently used my prismacolor white pencil for blending but used it after the coloring. Worked quite well. Was a Halloween video from Sandy Allnock... Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the tip about the Prismacolor pencils, I'm also wary of nuking them in the microwave, lol. Another tip to prevent breakage is the way you sharpen them, make sure you turn the sharpener and not the pencil. I've got good results with a $2 metal sharpener from the brand Kum, it was recommended at a stamp show. By the way, Bristol will work for Copics in a pinch, although you have to modify your technique a bit. Thanks for another great video!

I am a Tombow marker fan. I love to emboss on Canson watercolor paper and put some color in the embosed spaces and add water. Beautiful results for blending. As always, Jennifer, thanks so much for your informative video.

Always a pleasure to watch your favorites videos. One question: what do you think about Distress markers? I do use the same technique as you with the pads (acrylic bloc and brush), but wondering if it's easier to color with the markers. Thanks again for everything 😊

Great coloring tips. I am most comfortable with Prismacolors and have been using those since the late 80's. They are not as good as they used to be but they are still better than most of the others. I have one question about the shimmery products. Does the product rub off on the fingers or stay put on the card?

Hello Jennifer. This is the first time I have commented on a video of yours. I do enjoy them but never had had a question. II always figured you would be too busy to answer anyway. However, today, you said that you only use your copics on your neenah card stock. Have you tried them on the bristol? If so what was the result? Was there feathering, bleeding, pilling, muddiness? Just curious. It's ok if you don't answer.

Hello. I have asked stathmore about using with copics." Hello Torin - Thanks for writing to us! Yes, Copic markers will work very well with our 300 Series Bristol Smooth paper.". I have asked copics about using bristol "This paper works very well with Copic markers, yes. Enjoy using your markers with it!“ So why do you think it is not good?
