I’ve been feeling really down because I recently moved to Florida and the weather here is very bland. Christmas is hard for me without the snow and cold weather. My family couldn’t come and visit for Christmas either so it’s been lonely. I always spend Christmas with my family but this year it will only be about half of my family. Even when I’m having a rough day, your videos never fail to cheer me up, Jess. Thank you for making my day and bringing a smile to my face! ❤

My family mitigates the issue of having to wait to open presents by letting us empty our stockings as soon as we get up. That way, we have something to distract us from waiting for everyone to be up so we can open the presents under the tree.

I would say choice C. It definitely made it more exciting. When you are or were a little kid and you would go to sleep but wake up at a random time and sneak and the gifts were just there, made it more exciting! lol 😂

Is it just me or do dads take SOOO LONG to get ready on Christmas. Like on normal mornings they get up and do stuff normally, and on Christmas it’s like they are getting ready in slow motion.

Growing up, we had the following rules for Christmas. You may not leave your bedroom before 6 am. Once up, you may have your stocking, but nothing else yet. No waking parents before 8 am. And finally, no opening presents until after breakfast. And thus, our favorite Christmas was the one where both parents had the flu, and the rules were temporarily suspended.

I`m really exited because this year we´re gonna visit my big sister and her partner who lives in another city and celebrate Christmas there. And we´re not gonna eat regular Christmas food because I don´t like it and my big sister and her partner are vegetarians. I'm the one who sleeps in. Not gonna lie. Xmas stresses me out a lot. Along with seasonal depression because i live in the northern hemisphere so it's heckin cold and dead. I think I would like Xmas more if i lived in Australia.

Growing up is realising Christmas isn't as cut out to be as it was as a kid. Wake up early as a child, sleep in till 9 as an adult. Be ecstatic to get loads of presents as a kid, disappointed to get the same generic adult gifts as you get older. Hardly gie a damn about dinner as a kid, the best part of the whole day as an adult with the added excuse to get drunk so to avoid the annoying relatives' crap. Be sad its over when the day is finished as a kid, relieved its over as an adult

That was me. I would wake up at like 2:00 in the morning but not on purpose. I’ve woken up at earlier too. I was always excited but sad because I wanted to sleep. I’ve slept in until like 6-7 twice. This year and one other year.
