From episode 1, I was literally crying all through out. My heart and passion is really in cooking and exploring the different culinary and culture lalo na sa lugar na hindi ko pa napupuntahan pero lagi akong sabik na makita, my father's home town. The Mountain Province. It's just heartbreaking for me na kahit isang dish ay walang naituro sakin ang papa ko because I was just seven nung nawala sya at hindi namin nakilala ang buong angkan nya. Thank you for opening our eyes to a whole new world of food. Pilipino ako na nandito sa Pilipinas pero kulang sa exposure sa iba't-ibang cuisine ng regions, islands, provinces ng Pilipinas. Usually when we travel, we'd just look for the "familiar" fast foods, hindi kami ma explore sa food. But next time na makapunta ako sa Baguio, first on my list is chef Chavy's Roofdeck kitchen. Thank you Chef Jp for uplifting Filipino kusineros arpund the Philippines and their native, home grown cuisines.

Another great content, chef! I would highlight the fried rice with pigs blood cos i happen to taste that when i was in Benguet last 2019 BC (Before Covid) lol, and it was cooked by someone from Kalinga and it was delicious! I also noticed their "Garden to Kitchen" method as what we Filipinos should also practice as it is an assurance that what we eat are free from harmful chemicals if ew do it organically.

As usual, food looks really really good. I was in awe the moment the sunlight hit that ridge of the mountain where the their house sits. What an amazing location to live and spend your daily life at. It must be an overwhelming experience just to camp and spend the night there.

dito sa cordillera, kalinga ang may maanghang na cuisine.. ika nga, hindi ka taga kalinga hindi ka mahilig sa siling maanghang.. ang chinokjok, pwede lagyan ng ibang spices para pampasarap lalo.. ihalo sa lutuing ulam pero ako hindi.. direkta ko hinahalo sa ulam ko mismo..mas masarao kasi sa panlasa ko hindi ako taga kalinga pero mahilig ako sa maanghang..
