I'm 67 years old and have been playing Wildlands for several years and love it. (It's actually the only game I'm playing right now several times a week). I only play Open World Games and as far as I'm concerned, this game is the best one of them all, and I've pretty much played them all. My second favorite Open World Game is Skyrim, third GTA5. I have already preordered "Starfield", just waiting for its release in 12 days. I also can't wait for GTA6 and Elder Scrolls 6 to be released. I just hope they come out before I die. All that being said, I will continue to play Wildlands forever. I love this game so much. It's a dream of mine that Ubisoft would remaster Wildlands for the new consoles and add a Zombie DLC to it. Wildlands is the perfect game to add Zombies to.

I took bought Starfield. And all I do is play and watch Wildlands. Need I saw more? I guess I'm also dissing Breakpoint, but in the GFX and atmosphere department, nothing beats Wildlands.

Give Elden ring a try. It’s more action oriented rather than story and side quests but it’s worth it. Just know it’s not a hack n slash and you have to give respect to the enemy

I see the differences but fps is the last thing I’m worried about ina single player. I prefer like 24.5 but was a 80’s baby.

Always nice to see someone playing with no HUD and not trying to run and gun it like COD. The only HUD I keep on is the weapon select in bottom left, I need to know if I'm throwing a flash bang or shooting a flare up for everyone to see.

I always minimize the HUD as much as possible when I start games so I can get used to it as fast as possible and it brings me into the games world more.

@@craigdanielson3069 for the immersion. Not having a minimap showing exactly where all the enemies is makes the game harder and more realistic. As you can see here, no hud makes the game so much more immersive.

@@craigdanielson3069 if you don't play on harder difficulties, it will be fine and i recommend you to try turning off hud. It makes the game look so much better and it forces you to use your eyes and ears more.

Enemies in tier mode on extreme difficulty are merciless. They see everything and hear everything. So either you play stealth or you die in 0.1 seconds

Appreciate that, yea it's a little bit of a struggle, so YT doesn't always show my viewers my uploads for whatever reason lol...and to answer your question, there is always some adjustment to contrast in my recordings because my captures dont always reflect what my TV shows. My recordings on Xbox sometimes are a little washed out, I make sure my vids look like they do with my TV settings

I love the impact bullets have in wildlands,feels like you are REALLY hitting the target..i wish breakpoint had it

You mean that hit indicator sound? This is the worst thing in this game, and sound indicator before enemy spot's you. I get rid of those two things using mod and now it's perfect.

Me and the lads have just started a ghost mode extreme difficulty playthrough with loads of assists and HUD elements turned off and it's a brilliant experience! Milisim meets tactical shooter with a classic GR feel and pace. Love this game!

@@xahmadx6442 we can take about 2 seconds of sustained gunfire, whereas santa blanca aren't that sturdy. Unidad demand precision though; anything less and they can tank for a second or two meaning you have to use headshots. Honestly dude, best way to play! And that's after we had to restart at least 10 times!

@@thebowshock7729 So long as you aim for the head or the chest. Stealth is still very effective but once you are caught expect a firefight!

I don't tbh, that's my only gripe with no hud ahaha, but like... what I do is, prior to engagement I make sure to quickly get a sense as to what the order of equipment is so I'm not stuck. But yea sometimes it causes me to accidently throw something I didn't plan on throwing aha

This game is beautiful and wonderfully made, except for one glaring flaw. At the highest levels, the AI behave with an awareness that can only be described as omnipotent. For example, if my partner and I attack the same base from opposite directions, and I miss a shot, my location and my partners location are immediately and precisely known to the enemy. Unfortunately, whoever programmed the enemy AI was not imaginative enough to think of how to make them tougher without granting them Dr. Manhattan-esque awareness.

Love these videos, if you press 'x' (on ps4) whilst aiming at an enemy, it will mark them up for a sync shot, instead of having to use a drone/shoot them yourself

You may think that it's good to play with no HUD, but for myself, if you're running around with no minimap, which I've been doing since I bought the game, and you're solo, your AI teammates are as useful as a block of ice trying to keep you cool inside a furnace, when knowing where enemies are coming from. They're pathetic. Tired of being shot in the back, so it's back to having the minimap on.

Different strokes for different folks . I had it off, then got tired of dying 20 hours in on my permadeath play through so up came the minimal and down came the difficulty. Been a blast since. It's your $60. Play it however you like. $60...man I miss the 2010s

I was amazed few days ago how an old game like this works like crap on new computers. Breakpoint works smooth on high settings while this one even on low glitches. No wonder it got a lot of hate when it came out.

It runs like crap cuz it looks this good. Play it on low until you upgrade, then revisit this game. Played it on a 1070 back in the day and I knew that when I can afford the 1080ti of the future, I am going back to this game on Ultra settings, 4k, 120fps. Well the $300 Radeon 6650 XT is only 10% weaker than the 1080ti, the best GFX card u could buy when this game came out. Sadly it's only at 60 fps but I can still get 3k Ultra. Totally worth it. This game was a looker back in 2017 and until the next generation of consoles come out, pretty sure it will still be a looker in 2027. PBR, subsurface scattering, high res texture, the best God Rays I've ever seen (clouds and mountains cast real time shadows onto the ground below) all it's missing are the tracing of rays, but for poor folks like me, I'll take performance over the performance hit of RTX.
