recently playing both at the same time. Full stealth mode, no enemy markers. Hands down wildlands is better... In terms of control feedback, fluidity. In terms of graphics and polish. In terms of how the world is design, realistic terrain and vegetation. Wildlands is better hands down on every aspect and I bet the people who worked on wildlands aren't around much when breakpoint was developed. you can see. Breakpoint is okay on its own but the map design, the environment design, the ai all lacking by a mile compared to wildlands... Breakpoint also feels sluggish to control. The graphics seems nicer at first glance but have way more fuzziness and less sharpness that wildlands had. The vegetation in breakpoint looks worse (bluury fuzzy) and more sparse than wildlands. TLDR; Wildlands is very underrated and Breakpoint is very overrated. Coming from a guy who clocked 300hrs in wildlands and 100 hrs in breakpoint.

I 100% agree with what you said. I’ve done 300 in wildlands and 200 in breakpoint wildlands wins by a mile. That’s why I’m playing through again 😊

all guns in wildlands dont one shot to the body in stealth. you must play on the easy difficulties muhehehehe. (just jokes its okay) gameplay wise i prefer wildlands, i think breakpoints bullet sponge robot/drone enemies suck. they really take me out

For some reason I just couldn't get into Wildlands. I bought Breakpoint for $5 on the Steam sale and I'm absolutely loving it.

I only bought breakpoint because of the first person mod which I just found out about. I quit playing gr because of third person. I guess I'm in the minority. I hate how immersion-ruining third person is

@shepooble_ My man!! So at the endscreen of this video, it will lead you to another one, and then that other one will lead you to anotha one and then again etc (you get the point) I recommend you watch the chain of my Wildlands Co-op cinematic-y vids since you enjoyed this one so much! 😁 i think you would like the others I've done (all are roughly 3mins in length) nothing crazyy. Even if you don't, no pressure, thanks for leaving those nice words 👍

Honestly might be cause you're trying to be cinematic but your reaction time in the first clips is equivalent to me after smoking a shit ton of weed and a bottle of whiskey later

I would love if they returned to a mission based structure with open levels and the mechanica and aesthetics of the original GR from 2001 but it will never happen. 80s/90s and early 2000s US military just look way better than moden high speed multicam shit. Guess i have to keep playing Arma Reforger
@S3mj0n20 сағат бұрын
Wildlands had a good aesthetic in its scenario/setting. Breakpoint had better animations, gear looked better (hate that almost all plate carriers are too low in wildlands), gunplay is more fun in breakpoint but the scenario with the awful tech bro aesthetics just didn't work

That thermovision of path finder is brilliant. Not only for the action in the dark, but also for sniping, including in the daylight.

Is actually this weapon not an artificial softer version of M4A1? They look very alike, they have pretty much the same loadout logic (also, if i correctly recal, m4a1 and 4-ac are the only ones who accept the 100 rounds magazine).

Game play, frame rate and draw distance aside, walk across the map in both games and see which one is more immersive. For example, in Wildlands civilians reacting to your presence (guns / no guns). Larma’s walking across your path. Birds fly up in forest environments when you approach or when enemies come near. Little environmental inclusions that you may not even know are there. BP definitely has better game play and dress ups but ……. the environment is sooo sterile, just queue the choppers /drones and the single file walking wolves?? Haha! The devs were out to lunch on this one. The successor to any game should improve in all areas, regardless if different teams developed them. Improving certain elements just for future sales and not maintaining the polish in the franchise is detrimental. Listen to the fans and players.

I agree with that Breakpoint has better gameplay so far, and what i most like are the CQC animations. The thing i dont like that in BP enemies sometimes has a really weird ragdoll, when they are already lying on the ground, their hands and feet remain in the air and when you do a cqc with the combat knife from the back they always collapse in crossed hands. Not a big issue but it could be more realistic

what you really want is the body mechanics of sniper ghost warrior where you can shoot a guys leg off just so he falls a certain wait so that his body wont get seen by a patrol

Disagree with the gore, that's just really not what Tom Clancy is about (both books and games). And for team controls, a bit more input than there was in Wildlands and Breakpoint would be nice, but commanding multiple squads is not necessary, and if it is, I think the ideal way to implement would be at mission briefing, to say which squad goes in which way, and with a 4 player co-op every player could command their own squad. A 16-player co-op would be insane as well, but communication between squads would turn into hell.

I just bought the game for a friend and myself since it's got a huge discount on Steam for Summer Sale lol. Been enjoying the hell out of it and other more slow paced /milsim-ish games. Been enjoying Arma Reforger, Helldivers 2, Ready or Not, Bodycam, Squad, and this game. These games are slowly becoming my favorite game types.

I first played wildlands like two days ago and first of all i think the game is better than breakpoint at everything so far except the animation and the way to unlock new cosmetics, the daily challenges make you go aroud the pap and do some random story mission left and right so it breaks my imersion, i like the erning money then buy your gear at the shop systeme of breakpoint more

I first played Breakpoint and then Wildlands. The story from both games is awful, but both games are very addictive. I liked Breakpoint better because they perfected mechanics in that game, and Wildlands is sloppy fun mess, with some very frustrating missions. Anyway, both games are very fun, I would just prefer that instead of making big open worlds, vehicles and other unnecessary things for tactical shooter they invested resources in creating better missions, atmosphere and story.

the fact Ubisoft didn't even tease ghost recon at the recent forward is a bit worrying in my opinion for the future of the series
