First, there was the internet gold rush in the 1990s; then, there was the app gold rush in the 2000s; now, the next big thing in tech will be augmented reality. The AR gold rush is coming soon, and I believe this AR era will be a perfect opportunity to achieve financial freedom.
The AR era will disrupt many different industries and create new forms of economies; this will be a perfect opportunity to leverage to achieve financial freedom i.e. positioning yourself in an industry which is poised to explode soon and having the first mover advantage when the AR era arrives.
In this video, I lay out my 3-step plan for financial freedom in the coming AR era, covering topics like freelancing, IoS development, business etc. This is a plan for financial freedom that I have set out for myself and I hope you find some value in it, on your journey to achieving financial freedom.

Hye Nikhil Instead of freelancing you can also try remote ios dev jobs you will work on a contract basis the jobs pay really well and you don't need to worry about clients and part-time job because the remote job will cover your expenses Let me know your views on remote dev jobs

Hi Rafeeq, that is an interesting point you raise, have not thought too much about remote iOS dev jobs. Im assuming these are salaried roles where you are paid for your time spent and not necessarily output? If so, then it would be same as a job, leverage/brand-equity lacking but security plenty. I think these are great, however, it all depends on what the 10 year vision is, which for each person will be different. Btw got notifications of your other comments, but for some reason KZfaq does not show it, so can’t see in full ☹️

by the way iam also going to start my freelancing journey as a react developer from November and looks like we both have the same game plan for coming years

@@NikhilJacobiam planning to start through online sites later on after building some connections iam planning to directly reach out to them and along with that iam planning to create content on linkedin and twitter so that I can get some clients from there the main motive right is just keep networking and wait for the oppurtunities

@@rafeeqsyedamjad8875 that is one neat plan, also I have heard from other successful freelancers that a personal website with app portfolio would help a lot in building trust, might be worth considering if not there yet. Yo Nikhil..love the plan Even I was brainstorming about this and as I thought to start iOS I felt like it’s good to learn some web dev to enter into dev..also I wanted to explore in UI/UX design and research What do you think?

Hellooo my friend, yes that is a good point. I initially looked into web dev too, good thing is there are lot more jobs available in web dev advertised, compared to ios apps. Only reason I went for IoS is because of the bet I am making on the apple glasses and a personal love for Apple devices, in addition to the benefit of niching down on a single integrated ecosystem :) If you go into web dev route, you could also start tinkering with web AR, which will be device agnostic, lot of potential I see there too. Also, UI/UX in AR will be a huge space to innovate, the field is traditionally 2D based. So, yeh all to your personal preferences and the bets you make; important thing is to build products yourself, and learn along the way whatever you need to.
