I've always had a 4X4 on my drive over the years but never had the chance to take it/them off road. My current daily is a trusty L322 Range Rover. I've never really understood the world of trialing and so I thought I'd give it a go today as the trials have the RTV class which is for softies like me who want to have some off road fun with their own cars but don't want to damage panels along the way! I had a great time today and many thanks to John Kirby and other members of the Woolbridge Motor Club who put the event on and of course for all the other hard core off-roaders who made me feel welcome today. I will most certainly do these events in the future but first I need to get some off-road tyres for my Rangie as I've learned today that wet grass/mud and fast road tyres render my Rangie useless off road. Unless it was just my bad driving!
