My First Aerobatic Flight - Spin Awareness Flight Training

I flew on the Super Decathlon with aerobatic pilot Armando at Sling Pilot Academy for spin awareness flight training and got my first taste of aerobatics!
After takeoff, we practiced on some Dutch rolls, power on and off stall before entering my first 360 degrees roll, then a loop in the sky and more aerobatic like hammerhead, and finally some spins. The whole flight is about spin awareness and how to recover from spin situation.

Great video Sam! Love the Super Decathlon and aerobatics! It’s my favorite part of flying planes when I get to do steep banks, stalls, Dutch rolls the whole nine yards! Aero flying ROCKS it’s the number one reason I wanted to get my ppl! (Which I almost have now I just need to solo! We should fly together sometime my friend, cheers 🥂 great flying! 😊

My first experience of aeros was in a Yak52 with a mate. I told him not to do a hammerhead because it's scary, so that's exactly what he did and then two or three more. What a thrill, especially when the plane was just about to fall backwards before he kicked in full rudder.

星宇航空4月26日首航洛杉磯，當時擔任首航航班機長的星宇董事長張國煒，讓非航空人員百萬網紅Sam進入駕駛艙，網紅Sam更將兩人合照發於網路上。根據《航空器管理規則》規定，非操作人員在飛航時間進入駕駛艙必須有主管機關同意，但民航局並未接到申請，民航局事後介入調查。針對網紅Sam進入駕駛艙，民航局18日完成調查和訪談，據悉，民航局研擬對張國煒在內4名星宇航空機師各開罰6萬元；另星宇航空將記警告，恐怕影響未來航權分配。而機師面臨開罰，也可能是星宇和張國煒首次違規被罰紀錄。對此，民航局僅表示，該案已完成調查，本周尚未規畫開會討論，且將給星宇航空陳述說明意見機會，後續程序仍進行中，尚未定案。
