I know some of the locals aren’t impressed but this for me is a game changer as a disabled person - it’s cut out the need to pay for taxis or struggle to walk to and from the station. I do think it’s taken a ridiculous amount of time and money to complete though.

Very cheap i though the tram Fare was at £ 3.50. Once again your very detailed Narration was really Superb. This would be Excellent, if you and a few Friends one night, wanted to go on a Beer Crawl around a few Bars and Pubs, the perfect transport you would use. Leave your vehicle at home. This looks like a very Modern Transport Service in Blackpool. This will be very Popular with the visitors and the Local City Ladies and Gentlemen. Nice video vlog of your first trip on the tram up Talbot Rd to North Station. I see you met with Charles from Life On The Ocean Wave and Blackpool Belle at North Station. Will be a handy stop for when I eventually travel up by train to pick up the tram here. They have made a grand job of North Station terminal too.

Looks like it's going to be an integral success for locals and visitors alike, what a worthwhile project to add into central Blackpool. I also love the Day Saver tram tickets, adults £6.60 for 24 hours, hop on / hop off and you can also use any Fylde Bus too. It certainly beats getting jammed on the Prom and finding a car parking space. I like parking down South Shore end, then catching Tram at Burlington Street West. The heading to Clevelys.

That's a good ride from Starr Gate, I think if anyone coming to Blackpool wanted to do an on and off the transport tour of the area at £6.60 that would be a cheap day out if they plan their route right, Apparently beer cans get heavier when empty and muscles get weaker after drinking them, if I was someone in the council I would assign a few staff for a week to go up and down the whole of the front and pick up the cans and fast food containers dumped by the lazy brigade and put it in a couple of caged council refuse wagons and display it on the front flies and all to let them know how bad they are. Hope the man flu is getting better,

Again, another brilliant and informative video, Stephen. This tram service is one of the best innovations in Blackpool for a long time. Your start in Starr Gate also brought back memories of learning how to drive on some spare land there in tne early 80s! Pleased to see Lords Hotel is still standing, even if unoccupied. An unusual building, and Frances and Eddie Lord were good people. Thank you, Stephen, for this video and your insights.

Loved your different type of presentation. Will be trying out the tram when in Blackpool late July. Good to see the steelwork that was erected for the EasyHotel removed. It was an eyesore. Two contractors failed while trying to erect the hotel. ColinSeaside I have not watched for years. I watched him religiously when the Premier Inn was being built .

Looking forward to being in "Mother " Blackpool in Sept . I live 10 miles away but holiday there with a friend . The upwardly mobile Blackpool continues to take shape. A trip to Fleetwood then taking the ferry over to Knott-end ,as long as it isnt broken down AGAIN .

Regarding the noisy aeroplane , its when the noise suddenly stops you have to worry. I remember the crazy golf , having spent many hours missing the holes😂. Finishing off with a picnic in the dunes made a great day out. The one thing you can't take away from Blackpool is the fabulous sand. It puts the south coast pebbles to shame . The only thing I really miss is a full service of heritage trams. With only a few running on selected services it's not as interesting as it used to be. Whilst the new ones are ok they are just busses on rails now, not an attraction.

Those trams are brill,great value too, we will deffinitly go on them next time we visit Blackpool. Hope your feeling better now x

Me and my brother will be coming over to Blackpool on Wednesday definitely going to check out those trams and a £1 burger, maybe even fish and chips at the tower fisheries we will be looking out for you hopefully it won't be all kicking off when we are there 😂 great video as always, thank you 🙂

The illuminated trams are back at Rigby Road (tram town) they have balloons 717 & 700, Brush 631, Bolton 66 and open top 227 down at Stargate
