Glad i found your channel Nate, subscribed, some great info and enthusiasm here. One tip I have for cucumbers (from my experience anyway) is dont let them get to the point where they start to turn yellow, pick them smaller and earlier, once one cucumber gets to that point, the plant thinks it's done it's job and shuts down production.

Thanks. Only compost when I initially planted the seeds. Other than that just rain water whenever possible.
