I like how you are doing stations for the first day! I am taking notes from your tour lol, I like the subtle incorporation of plants. I will have to get some for my room and post an updated room tour eventually. So much changes so quickly. So glad I found your channel for inspo!

Awesome!! So glad you could relate! I used to do flexible seating at my other school but it's harder with this school because there's about 30 students in a class too

I subscribed and liked with notifications on👍🏻! I’m a high school student in the 11th grade and I want to be a teacher! I agree with your cell phone policy because there is too many kids in my classes that get distracted and not pay attention to the lessons. I don’t get on my phone unless my teacher gives us permission to. Also, I was wondering what is your restroom procedures in your class? There are kids who honestly ask and go to get out of class even walking the halls sometimes🤦🏻‍♂️. Half my teachers do passes and the other half do sign in and out. I use the restroom during breaks, lunch and before school so I won’t have to interrupt and miss anything we are doing to go! I don’t abuse the privilege but maybe 1 or 2 times a week I go in class at appropriate times quickly!

Hi Ryan! Thanks for your feed back. I wish you nothing but the best in the future, it's a great and rewarding career! For my bathroom policy, there is a pass that they use on breaks!

Olivia Jevnick thank you! And that’s good allow them to go during breaks so they won’t ask during instruction! It took me a week to get used to going during the the breaks now that’s my routine. I only ask in class if I can’t hold it until break but normally I can hold it until break! I like how organized your classroom☺️👍🏻!

Olivia Jevnick I wish you was one of my teachers you would probably be one of my favorite teachers you seem really nice, helpful, and a organized teacher with how you handle things📚👏🏻! What grades do you teach at your school? I like how you have your class set up👍🏻. When I’m a teacher I’m going to have my class very organized to make it easier on me😃!

Ryan Faulkner Thank you! Absolutely you need everything organized. If you’re not, it can ruin plans all day long. Plus as a student, you know how it is. If your teacher isn’t organized, you can tell and it makes it harder on everyone!

Olivia Jevnick that is really good to know! I have teachers who aren’t that organized it makes it a lot harder on us students! I’m learning time management in school so I can be social too with friends! I do all my work and do everything I need to do for each class then I get a break for 15 minutes at the end of class to use the bathroom(teachers don’t mind after all my work is finished!) , socialize, and get on my phone then put it away for next class📚!

Tip: for the phone charging Try using a a hanging clear shoe rack. Students can put there phone in each slot , well charging and being able to see the phone still.
