80s all the way up to 2010 malindi was amazing, absolutely beautiful tourist all over the place, but now mld is dead most of the hotels empty looking like zombie land. Hopefully, tourism will be back like in the old days. 🥰

They might want to take some pride in keeping the town clean. Paint the worst looking buildings. The town is dilapidated and that's not attractive to tourists ......

Malindi of the 90s to early 2000s is no more. Even mombasa as a whole. Watamu and diani has some vibrancy though.
