HI FRIENDS! The time has come.... it's time to run my very first marathon! A whole 26.2 miles!!!! If you've been following, you would know that it's been a 16 week journey since I started training. I literally cried watching this. I've been watching you for so long and you're literally an inspiration to me. I tried for a sub 2 hr half marathon a few years ago and the half marathon was canceled due to the air quality from the fires in CA. Ever since then I haven't tried to run a half marathon anymore but watching this journey with you really inspires me to get back into running again. You're amazing Kris!

Congrats !! I love the Carlsbad Marathon - I've done it 4 times back when it was the other course up Palomar Airport Rd and this newest one. It's more climbing than most road marathons but the course is beautiful. I had some fomo watching your recap that I didn't run it this year. Sub 4 on that course is great! 🎉

I love that all the other girlies in the comments were also crying along with me and with you :') I ran a handful of marathons in my 20's until I blew out my knee. Although my running days are over, I get so much joy out of seeing others getting out there. Your marathon footage was true race day ASMR.
