My daughters are 4 and 7. Just learning how to ride their little electric dirt bikes but I showed them this video of you riding a "big bike" and they loved it. Ride safe ❤

As a former MSF Instructor, the best advise I can give is rhythm and ride like you are invisible even if you make eye contact. 👁👁👁 Practice Practice Practice

Hi Miss Murkeri, glad to see you so excited with your first bike! If you get a chance, do look into a Basic RiderCourse class put on by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. They will cover all you did here, but much more, and will turbocharge your learning. As a lifelong rider, I still take rider training about every year... you can never learn too much, and you can never be "too good" a rider. Keep on practicing, keep on smiling, and remember to keep your head and eyes UP! Ride safe, and ride well. We'll be following you here!

When I took my MSF this 72 yr old lady rode the grom. She got 2nd highest grade in the class.

The kick stand kill switch got me once in front of all the guys at work because I was in a rush to leave after noticing my gas light had come on while warming up the bike. Embarrassing but it’s all part of learning.

Great JOB! I remember my very first time 20 years ago and just watching your video puts me right in the feels. Although mine was on a 1980's 600cc, which i do not recommend, lol. Then after that i took the course and choose a 250cc dual sport during class! Too bad the grom didn't exist back then, its literally the perfect starter bike and even the most fun bike for experienced riders! I plan to buy one in the future as well! +1 on the gear though, have fun and enjoy! When your ready to move up, give supermoto's a shot! Highly recommend a yamaha wr250x/r!!!!

Revzilla and cycle gear are good places to get gear and moto parts. Practicing in empty parking lots is the best place to learn. Keep practicing! Riding gets easier the more you do it, and it’s totally worth it. Good luck!

Might be the best purchase you ever make! They make crash cages for stunters that will protect your bike if you do happen to drop or play it down.

i bought my grom working a part-time at jimmy johns at 18, it was worth every bit. Rn since its been a year, im moving on to a bigger bike soon! Its all worth it Please be safe

Take a proper motorcycle safety class. Your dad has good intentions but he is not an expert motorcycle instructor. You'll learn things there that will keep you alive.

Who says her dad's not a motorcycle instructor my dad taught us how to ride young we started riding ATVs Three wheelers snowmobiles and buggies at 4 years old had my First Scooter at 7 years old my first dirt bike at 9 years old my first street bike at 18 2nd at 21 first street bike 1972 Harley Davidson Sportster 900 chopper 6ft springer front end 2nd bike 1982 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 25th anniversary my First sports bike at 23 1982 Suzuki gs650 2nd sports bike 25 Suzuki gsxr 600 3rd at 31 82 Suzuki gs750 and a 81 Honda GL1100 Cafe racer

@@phoenixarizona8441 Just cause one rides motos does not make one a good teacher of such. But you got lucky and learned at an early age. Most of use are not so fortunate. It is best, safest, to assume not so than so. Plus moto riding is a lifelong learning process, you always learning never stop cause there is always something to learn. There is always someone better at you at something that you can learn from.

Great choice of bike, love Honda mini bikes, that's how I got directed here I guess, like has been said, proper lessons will go a long way, I like a channel called "motocontrol" the guy teaches mad carpark skills for everyday road use and confidence, sure keep making biking vids and your viewer count will gain traction quicker than you think, always good seeing female riders getting onboard, increasing cool factor x10, lol! ..really need proper leg protection moreso now as a beginner than ever. Nice one dad for letting you step into biking so positively 👍

Good job. Happy you got some gear. Yes, it isn't cheap. I knew when the bike would turn off it was the kickstand. It has got me before and still does😂. Just one thing I noticed is you have to look up where you want to go. Your chin points the way the bike will go.

I got a 2022 grom sp also, and w/ the same yoshi full loop exhaust. I slapped some dumb things on it on my channel if u want inspiration and have dumb money to throw at it.

I was there, I am her brother. She was trying to u turn on a street and didn’t follow through or went to fast and went up the curb, classic whisky throttle and it just spun around. It wasn’t really a crash and it is obvious on the thumbnail, proves you know nothing about bikes. Stick to your little bmx bike lol bro.
