He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts, and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. Welcome to THE best singer in the world! This song is from a French rock opera called Starmania from the 1970's i think. This performance, and the whole Digital Show was performed live by him because of having to cancel his concerts during the Covid times. He truly is a phenomenon singer. His range is around 7.2 octaves and he covers all genres of music from Opera to pop, rock, folk, classical, r&b, jazz and he even raps!! He does all of this to perfection. I have never known a singer who conveys so much emotion with every performance. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer and a very humble, caring person. I hope you continue with discovering Dimash and his amazing vocal abilities, as well as his humanitarian side, for which he has won various accolades as well as his many and varied awards for his musical talents. He released an album in China which went triple platinum within minutes of being released! He first went viral overnight when being invited onto a tv talent show there in 2017 and SOS was the first song performed by him on the first show. By morning, after going there as an unknown, he was told he would need security around him! The talent show was for already established Chinese singers and Dimash was invited as a wild card, expected to last a few weeks, but he lasted the whole series, winning a number of shows and also endearing himself to the Chinese people. He ended up staying there for 3 years, appearing on various shows, even a reality show called Super Shine Brothers which was a huge hit. To this day he is regularly invited back to China to appear in many celebratory shows/concerts and has recently returned from a stint of around 3 months there doing various big events. Once you learn that he is an amazing, loving, kind, intelligent, and a patriotic person on top of his unbelievable vocal abilities, you can’t help but fall under his spell. Can you imagine how his multi-millions of fans felt the first time they heard him sing. For me it was about 7 years ago, and I was completely mesmerized, and it took me a few minutes to understand what was going on. Today I know most all of his talents he has shown; but he still throws a few surprises into each performance , just to keep you on your toes. As one reviewer put it, you have now been "Dimashified". He is, unquestionably, the absolutely greatest singer on the planet Earth right now (possibly in the history of singing)! In case you have not read up on him, he's from Kazakhstan and has a world-wide following -- especially in Europe and Asia. You're right . . . he isn't human, that's for sure! Like so many who have reviewed him and become fans (or as he calls them, "Dears,") I am a trained singer, and I simply can't imagine how any one person is able to do what he does -- not only his insane range (around 6-1/2 octaves), but his absolute control, both in tone and breath, and the perfection of every note, no matter what style or range he is singing. He speaks something like 5 or 6 languages, sings in around 15. Dimash IS music!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born to do this!!!!!! Just a few other songs of his you might want to check out: "Ave Maria," "El Amore En Ti," "Stranger," "Olimpico," "Love of Tired Swans" . . . just to name a few.
