The Submariner is one of my favorite watch designs and I'd love to have one some day.... my question right now is, I really can't live without the date complication, so though the design looks better without one, and this watch is certainly about design, would I still want the date? I am thinking yes I would, for wearable practicality... but tough to say when the original is such a clean (in the hip hop sense of the word) design.

The perfect dive watch I feel . It’s very true on first glance it’s a sub , quite a simple dive watch nothing spectacular. Closer look it’s very , beautiful . When it catches the light just right it’s stunning . Luck enough to have the maxi no date and 41 date . It would be the perfect one watch piece but I just can’t manage that I’m afraid .😀

Can’t beat the feeling of purchasing a Rolex from an AD for list price! I expressed interest with my AD in June 2021 for a Submariner 124060 and got the call to pick it up after a 4 month wait 😎 it was relatively ‘easier’ as l already have a purchasing history with a Tudor Black Bay Bronze in 2017 and Omega Speedmaster in 2020. Hoping my AD can come through again this year and allocate me a Pepsi GMT...

Yes, this is a great classic but I won’t put that kind of money in this watch. I prefer to put most of my budget on my everyday watch. Maybe a Rolex Explorer/Commando/OP then. Not a fan of Mercedes hands or cyclop bubbles. I own a Squale 1545 mil-sub hommage and that’s enough for me for a classic design diver. Still a great choice if you like it and specially if your plan is to keep it. 👍 Enjoy it !... Can’t argue with the quality here.

I traded my sinn 104 and Oris Aquis towards the Tudor and I couldn’t be happier! The quality has blown me away! I always liked them but u can’t appreciate the quality until it’s in hand! I would love to add Rolex to my collection someday maybe for my 40th (I’m 34) so I better try and get on waiting list now! Lol 😂 Congratulations again!!!

In the last 20 years, the emerging market collector’s wrist size is definitely smaller so what is with the massive oversize clasp, oversize lug size and noisy movement. The BB58 is perfect at 39mm in case size, perfect 20mm lug size and thickness of just 11.9 mm….The new sub should have followed the same sizes as the BB58! The new 41mm is clunky compared to the perfect proportions of BB58.

Is it good for a 7” wrist?
