Hi guys ever wondered what a salary of a first time Healthcare assistant looks like? Well here is a reveal of my payslip as a healthcare assistant . Please note the nursing home i worked in did pay a lower rate in comparison to some, you could earn much more in a hospital or different nursing home, hospitals under Hse or NHS often pay more.Please subscribe if you liked the video

but gal, i think Ireland kinda pays better compared to back home in South Africa, although am not sure what the cost of living is like. Perhaps give us a comparison, should someone want to move there, what we can expect.
@littlesithinilifeinireland3637

My payslips were when I first started out ,I was making around R32000.00 in r a month, note my nursing home was one of the lowest paying, my salary got higher after promotions and passing probations etc, cost of living depends where you are rent is very expensive in the capital but affordable elsewhere

@@littlesithinilifeinireland3637 OK. Eish.. Honestly, according to my research, pay wise in SA is terrible, but since am in training, I will just wait and see what it's like once am I start. Am excited though about the job not the pay. Thank you for the great content❤️❤️❤️

Hi, this is so informative, just for clarity if the payslip is for 2 week period so for a month we can say the salary could average an amount like €2000 to €2500 maybe?

Hi Christine thank you for stopping this payslip was from 2 years ago,the rate is higher now so you can expect more than 2000 for most places 🥰

Hi Sithini, Thank you very much for the detailed video. My question is, are we allowed to work in a part-time job while doing the main job we have been sponsored for? Do we need special approval from the employer or from the government? Thank you!!!

Hi ,thank you for stopping by,I’m my current workplace you do need to let your employer know if you will be taking in a part time job and it shows on your tax as well so your payslip will definitely show them , I think it will depend on your contract agreement with the main employer who sponsored your visa

Hi there it depends on the country you are for mom , you would need to be a qualified HCA with experience in the country you are form , if you google HCA level 5 , it will give you the modules that they are looking for it is possible that you may not have the same modules as hear but you should be eligible to work in your own country, hopefully this help

Currently you are required to 150-200 hours work experience depending on college in Ireland, the months depend on how many days you work and hours,shifts are usually 12 hours,if you do 7 (12hour) shifts every 2 weeks you can finish in 2 and a half months for 400 hours,

great video .i presume its Ireland you are in and not the united kingdom? i think though 10.50 an hour is very underpaid for the type of work you do. its a disgrace when you compare it to what a nurse or doctor gets, although even saying that . i am thinking of persuing a healthcare support course at my local college. i guess its better than being umemployed. lol.
