Even after passing twice, it didn’t quite seem like a silk press. He should’ve just put heat protector on, flat ironed, and then used a light agent to spray the hair to give it that shine, then wrapped it. It looks nice though.

Rose Maina Yea. If you do a bomb job doing the blowout and de tangle, you won’t need but 1 pass.

Natalie you have no idea how much I have been waiting for this video. I haven't straightened my natural hair in 3 years and I need a trim and silk press in March. Your hair absolutely gorgeous but I don’t think he had the correct flat iron to achieve a proper silk press. After he was done it looked like it was blow dried. And the serum he added weighed it down

I think the reason why your hair attracts moisture is because it looks like you live in a high humidity area. Please check on that too. Anyways you have healthy hair that looks nice too.😊😊😊

Its pretty but he just did a press...not a silk press. He put way too much product or oil in your hair and weighed it down so it did not flow it just looked stiff. I would try a different place next time. But like i said its pretty anyways and if u like it thats all that matters
