i recently did a big chop but before that when i was relaxed my hair used to break so much cause of the combs i used, what am trying to say is i got the miniso hair brushes and they are so gentle on detangling relaxed hair as its so fragile,,,, try them out and they are quite affordable as well.

Try a "white girl comb" and see how you like it. I've been using the small sturdy one on my type 4 hair and it's amazing.

No heat on relaxed hair love it.. and that os why it is thriving.. as a natural.. with kinky coily hair i'd say it is difficult..especially finding what works for your hair.. i am still learning on how to do low manipulation hair styles that will make my hair strong.. and avoid breakage. This is my 7th year had a few fall backs and did a big chop but am happy with my little curls.. please share some more details on what you did on your natural hair since you have experienced both..
