Hey guys! For today’s video, me and my mom went on a mother-daughter trip to Batangas! We spent a day at a place called The Farm at San Benito (which is quite famous actually!) in Batangas; and it was truly a healing trip.

You said the sotanghon soup have same taste with palabok because they both have an annato (atchuwete) spice. That's the real kikiam, you should taste their ham also, it taste like Spanish ham. Next time you come again in Quiapo, try the lumpiang sariwa in globe and palabok inside the palengke. I know cause I grew up there. I'd been eating it since I was young, and now I'm in my 50s, still eating there every time I come back to the Philippines

Oh, The Farm At San Benito! We also stayed at the Mahogany Pool Villa! On your next trip there, book the Narra Pool Villa. Yes, you should stay longer. It's a beautiful, serene getaway. Healthy food, spa, gym & yoga. Dinner at the Pesci resto is very good. They also serve pasta & other seafood.

Yeah Jessica, El Nido is quite expensive. You're still welcome in Palawan though! There's not much event in here tho, just relax and go on vacations. You could visit Port barton, Coron, or Balabac instead of El nido, but el nido is still quite beautiful if u ask me. just find the right people and info. I hope I see u here someday 🤧✨

I used to think staycation meant spending a vacation at home, or at least at a hotel within your home city or hometown. Now I don't even know anymore what is considered a staycation vs an actual vacation.

I was about to comment on the same thing. In the U.S. at least, "staycation" means to stay home instead of traveling to a destination. So basically, Jessica and her mom are on a vacation.

I'm Canadian Same definition, But Jessica doesn't mean it literally per se. She stressed that staycation at home is the Philippines and Bali for example is outside the home country.

@@homey4523 Yes, it appears the definition she's following is that staycation is having a vacation within the same country. Although for someone like me who grew up in Metro Manila and spent summer vacations in my mom or dads provinces. It doesn't feel right going on all those camping/glamping trips in Zambales, Rizal & Laguna or those trips to Sagada, Bohol, Cebu ect and call it a staycation because it's within the same country. And I know it sounds like I'm just nitpicking a small detail in the video or just making mountains out of molehill, and I probably am, but I just really think the term Staycation should be limited to your own home town or city.
