My local barber in Bangkok takes 130 baht for haircut + full knife shave (150 with tip).. A hardrock music dude around +45 years, only thing is that he takes alot of time as he is a total perfectionist like most musicians are. =)

Hello, I rode with you to the mall today. You were correct it was your video on the retirement visa that caused me to act now. I even left a comment. I watched that video one day and the next day I went to Assist Visa. It was a pleasure meeting you.

The barbers in Jomtien and Hua Hin charge 100 THB. They cut, trim ear and nose hair, shave razor stubble, massage shoulders & neck, and cut much neater than I could with a set of clippers. Plus, four ppl in the shop cut my hair well, and the experience and attention to detail are off the chain. $3 USD

Yes, the barbers here cost about 120 baht for all that also, but they don't look as pretty as hairdresser's 😉 . I felt it was worth paying extra for the fun hour or so. Cheers.

@@DiscoveringThailand Mate- my barbers in Hua Hin and Central Pattaya are all women. Most are lovely. At various times, the shop I go to has had four women who properly cut my hair. Pedicures take place in the same biz

Happy ending? Edited out 😂. Good click bait title. Ps thanks for retirement visa video. It answered many questions I had and would use Assist based on your experience. One question unanswered though..How did you get the Bangkok Bank bank account prior to even starting the whole process? Im presuming on a previous holiday but I've heard banks won't open an account if you're on tourist visa.

Hi.. I used an agent in pattaya 3 years ago to open the bank account. The visa type didn't matter.

I get my hair cut for £14?but when we 60 we get a free bus pass so I travel 16 minutes on the train in central London where I live it’s £40 but just four stops away it’s £20 I payed 50 thai baht in chaiyaphum a few years ago 😂

buy a set of clippers and do it yourself ... no tipping needed and no charge. .. save yourself 300baht plus tip. .. you will blow your budget paying that for a haircut

Once a month for a treat and a chat with the ladies and coming out feeling a million bucks, I would say thats a great deal at 300baht...
