The dogs tried Viva Raw, a premade raw dog food, today, and it was exciting to see what the hype is about.
I often see Viva Raw being recommended on social media, and they made The List by Susan Thixton on The Truth About Pet Food.
So, I didn't doubt that this was a great brand, but I don't feed many premade brands and Viva Raw's price per pound is outside my budget.
But one dog's protein sensitivities created an opportunity to try the Viva Raw beef recipe:
** 90% humanely raised beef
** 8% organic fruits/vegetables
** 2% natural supplements (no synthetic ingredients)
Today was my dogs' first meal, and they enjoyed it. I don't have much, so they'll finish what we purchased over the weekend.

I recently started feeding my dog Viva Raw and my dog loved it (I do gently cook it as I'm not ready to go full raw yet). May I ask what are the toppers you are using in the video? Thanks for the great content, I enjoy learning from you.

My dogs adapted slowly to Viva Raw and doing well so far. However, I would caution anyone that needs to rely on shipping times and would recommend a back up option. The website says to order ahead 7 days. We ordered on a Tuesday with one option for shipping was told it would arrive by Saturday. The expected shipping will now be be a minimum of 10 days, it could be longer. The company, despite a good product so far does not have great customer service. I have tried reaching out on this issue, with no help unfortunately. Hopefully they will grow and at some point remedy this issue.

Thanks for the heads up. I only tried their food once and wasn't aware about the ordering schedule. Do they offer recurring shipments?
