I love Az Ren Fair. I dress up and go every year. It's often ranked as one of the best on many lists. I've had friends that drive from Missouri to visit our Ren fair rather than see the ones near them. They say it doesn't compare to Az's. (though I'm often jealous of the beautiful trees that I see in other ren fairs.) Saguaros are protected, as they are endangered. You can buy babies in a tiny pot at a high-quality garden nursery. Not sure if you could bring it into France though. I feel like it would do well there since a lot of plants that grow in France do well in Arizona like grape vines and lavender. I think you would just need to plant it in a patch of well-draining sand. Of course, it would take 50-75 years for it to become what you see here in your lovely photos.

A French girl was surprised by an auto driving car in Arizona. Lol I’m happy you got to explore the state I grew up in. We have lots of history and culture in just this state. And every state in the USA has a different culture. What I love about Arizona is in two hours of driving I can go up north and be in cool weather or snow. And I grew up riding horses so western culture is just normal for me. I’m glad you got to showcase some of Arizona’s diversity

Bonjour sweet Marie,,,,there were so many good moments in this video, I had to write them down: 1:39: The rock dance was so adorably cute. That alone was worth watching 2:30: That was some dangerous climbing. Glad you took your time and got through it OK 3:00: What a spectacular shot. Might be the best you've ever taken. 4:47: Watching them slug each other with sacks was very funny. Might be good couples therapy. 5:58: The hamster raising the US flag had me laughing. Your videos are so fun to watch. Looking forward to the next one.

Another great video of Arizona! You have definitely gotten both your exercise and taken in a lot of beautiful places. Hope you have more to come. Now many people can see how the desert is not always what you picture. As far as taking a saguaro cactus home that might be illegal as it used to be a big deal to remove one. Probably too late now, but they have 2 parks in Tucson full of them. Also they need a very specific climate to grow in. Desert for sure. Not sure if the right climate exists in France. Merci beaucoup.

Bonjour Marie! I love the Ren Fest! Here in the Detroit, Michigan area ours runs from Mid August until the first weekend of October. Every weekend has a different theme, and at one point I had an outfit for each themed weekend. Many of my favorite memories are from time spent at the Ren Fest. I try to go every year, but mostly it's been by myself as it's gotten more difficult to plan to meet or go with friends or family. Glad you enjoyed it (I'm surprised you didn't show any of the foods!) Thanx for sharing! Bonne journee! ~Be Blessed

Hail Marie, how fare thee fair maiden, 👸 🌺 Your becoming quite the Park Ranger , it isn't easy hlking high up in the heat, looks like you had the whole canyon to yourself, always treasure the moment, I'll be dancing on the rocks to with those amazing views, that cactus ain't a pretty site, they can live between 10 & 200 years , I bet you've already picked up some for your garden, the Neon lamp ones are so cool. Around gold canyon they've got a great golf course at dinosaur park & the western blind justice was filmed nearby your location about a mysterious gunfighter sworn to protect a baby, maybe we should check it out. The festival was fun & frolics, merriment for one & all, the lady with the kitty show was adorable & impressive with her juggling ⚔️ skills , Mr Ratty 🐁was awesome hoisting up the stars & stripes , they don't deserve their bad image , they make great pets & are so intelligent. There was a lot of entertaining stalls & crafts, storybook was marvelous, jack & the beanstalk always been a favourite, the puppets would make Jim Henson proud, the whole theme with the olde music & dancing looked like a great day out for all the family. Cruising the suburbs will never be the same again, look out the 🤖 cars are coming, they'll be flying taxi drones next. I'm happy to see you exploring more of that beautiful state & everything it has to offer, you could have dressed up as Zelda at the festival, your did superb job editing as always, Thanks again FF , I bid thee farewell , blessings 🤗 💞 🌵✨

I’m glad you went to the Ren Fair! The people who work there every year have to audition first, like you would if you were in a movie, so it’s a little different every year. There are people who make a living by going from one Ren Fest to another across the country all summer. (I’ve known several couples who do that.) Dead Saguaros are known as Saguaro skeletons after their flesh rots off. Many people use them for decoration in their yards. 🌵

Renaissance festivals are a mix of medieval England and medieval France. Basically what everyone thinks about Europe during the time of king Author and the three musketeers or the ideal Middle Ages. It’s mostly pure fantasy that we just have in our heads. The king usually announces a jousting contest and a knight contest towards the middle of the day and a big choreographed fight ensues. It’s just fun mostly. Sometimes there is a big dragon robot or statue that blasts fire as a show. It’s all just fun. The Highland Games are more common though with contests of strength and skill.
