Finally signed up for my first kayak bass fishing tournament. This tournament was put on by Yak-A-Bass at Folsom Lake. Folsom Lake is right in my backyard, so thought this would be a good tournament to get my feet wet with, however going into it I knew that it would be a good challenge, as this lake is notorious for being tough. I tried several different things for 8 hours and only ended up with one, maybe 2 bites.
I did get to test out my Garmin depth finder for a full day this time, and my Dakota Lithium power box was able to power the unit all day with no issues.
Looking forward to the next tournament, wherever that one will be.
