Girl. I'm 27 and started pharmacy school when I was 25. I suuucked at chemistry (ironic, because pharmacology 🤷🏼‍♀️), and I struggled so hard the first year and a half. I thought I was going to have to drop out because everyone else had such fresh and good basic knowledge of chem, but I didn't. Anyway, here I am halfway through and I'm caught up on everything and it looks like I'll actually be a pharmacist in 2.5 years. All of this to say, it gets better I promise. But you have to focus and prioritize with organic chem, because she be crazy sometimes. Love you, you got this!

For anyone who struggles to get up for school/work with alarm... Make the phrase that pops up with the alarm something super aligned with your best self. Like: "YOU ARE AMAZING" or "YOU LOVE SUNRISE" or "THE UNIVERSE/GOD IS EXCITED FOR YOU TODAY" etc. It helps. If the message is a demand, or something that only speaks to requiring work, discomfort from you, it's harder.

I got PTSD flashbacks when I heard that alarm at the beginning

it's sad to see you cry but seeing you cry and say "i hate chemistry" was the most relatable thing on youtube - ALSO khan academy will save ur life in chemistry/biology classes

To understand the enantiomers many teachers always compare them to our hands, like they are the same but if you put one on the other they are not gonna match becouse your thumb will be on your pinkie, so they are specular,I don't know if it makes sense or if this is useful idk. I totally understand how you felt when you said that you felt like you had failed before you even started. I just started my masters program after taking two years off since undergrad. At the introductory day for the course, while the module leader was discussing the expectation they had of us and how the year was going to go I already felt like I was going to fail or I was in over my head. I questioned taking time off before going back to school because it was making me feel so far behind everyone else. Really remember how you felt this week. At the end of this year reflect back, you are going to be amazed at how far you have come and how silly your fear of failure was. Thats what I'm looking forward to, and the motivation to study hard for everything. To prove to myself in a years time that I did not make any wrong decisions, that everything happens just the way it's supposed to, and that I had nothing to be afraid of in the first few weeks. Good luck Megan, we can do this :)

I like the quote "it's never too late to be who you could have been". I finished my undergrad degree in 2014 and went back to school beginning of 2020 (after working full time for 6 years) at age 27. I've still got a few years left of grad school, but then I'll be able to move to the UK and become a clinical psychologist. I'm still running my fashion business while studying and some days I don't know how I'll get through it. But seeing you motivated to learn is motivating me to go study for my upcoming exams now. We got this! ❤

Can’t believe I passed it😂 but I failed another subject and had to wait a year to retake it, and then failed it again so I dropped out. 4 years of uni for nothing 🙃 when I think about it I get so freaking depressed 😫😫

It’s been proven that hand writing notes does help you remember things! Living alone will teach you who you are and you eventually will learn to love your own company, as there are many of us who do live solo. You have funny Carl and Waffles, too, and grandparents not too far away. Keep treating yourself to great food and your treats at weeks end. Love your videos, music and watching you cook.
