So sorry for your loss buddy but finally seeing fresh water fishes 🐟 yehhhhhh, but yeh do predator fishes bud it will be awesome some colourful American cichlids, get all the pikes in the zebrina range it will be awesome.

if this is your business i would recommend getting a backup generator through your electricity provider

Hey Caleb. I did have a generator for the fish room, but of course it stopped producing power. And during the thick of it all generators was hard to come by or insanely expensive. Thanks for tuning in.

@@inventoryking ouch, I always hate seeing loss of life. When we lose power we always see just how dependent we are on these big corporations to provide us with everything we need to survive. I would do some Exochochromis anagenys (3 spot torpedos) in a 125. Also, with the 40s you could set up some with Calvus or some compressiceps would be awesome too. So sorry to see your loss. Best of luck and thanks for the content!

@@inventoryking Calvus are slow growing but gorgeous when grown out. I'd love to get some of those Malawi Hawks! Hopefully things are getting back to normal there. Thanks for all the great info!

It was so insane. I talked to people that have lived here their whole life (30+ years) and they never seen anything like this. As for the RODI unti for the saltwater tank, I am still using it.

I have to fight heat, not cold. Sorry for all your loss. I've been looking at Goliad farms and they got Cichlids through the storm. They'll be the place to buy from when they start selling again.

Thanks Cae. Yeah if we are outside the type of climate these fish are mean to be in, it sure does take some extra work to keep things stable.
