Do NOT sand anything with the expectation that Novus will remove scratches. The product is WORTHLESS!

How big do they get? I want some smaller than Oscar's but bigger than African cichlids.

You'll be a much better aquarist and then you will have a better experience from watching this very knowledgeable and honest channel , and I have been enjoying the last few books that I don't have to buy since the Library already has them.🤔☯️

I think I'll get this instead of buying all the pvc....however....this kit is cheap pvc and the bulk heads are really cheap. I'll buy much better bulk heads for this kit. I do like the adjustable.

I’m upgrading from a 75 gallon with and FX6 and sponge filters to a 180. Do I still have to go through the whole nitrogen cycle even with all the same filters? Also adding an other FX6

Thank you for being so detailed! I think I will stick with my 75 gallon tank and just remove some of the fish because they are reproducing like crazy. Thank you again for this video.

It's odd eschopps has the silly tube to "suck" on vs a air valve reducer...just seems silly to have people do that plus it's unsanitary over time.

One should keep in mind that red algae do not absorb red light, and that green algae do not absorb green light. A white light lamp will work with most types of algae🤡

Crappiest video ever. Wasted too much time trying to show cloudy a relic when it was obvious, then just went ahead and did your own thing without much explanation. Who's the video for anywY ???!!! And no end result either. Get a room bro.

It should work with any tank as long as your inlet is putting out less than it can handle

Probably because your phosphate and nitrate is non existing without any fish or anything to get nutrients in the water. (Dinos love when the water is to clean and nutrients are lacking)

I made one of these years ago based on this video and worked pretty well. I own a 3d printer so I designed a nice attachment to replace the flimsy water bottle. If you search on either printables or thingiverse, you'll find it by looking for : Aquarium filter / water polisher attachment for powerhead
