The dude has no spine, if you look at his character, bossed around by his mother, then his mistress, it was only dr. Cha which he found he can have superiority over. He just makes decision to make his life comfortable alone. Maybe that's because of a very bossy mother. I bet he will abandon the mistress if it gets too difficult for him, not because he loves dr. Cha

“I did what you couldn’t for 20 years” u trynna tell me this man been cheating for 20 years!!!!!!! And from the trailers I see A LOT of red flags in him. How could his wife stay with him that long. And he cheated for TWENTY years, not like you can say he started recently but TWENTY years. This man has no heart. Like you have two kids with your wife bro. Sigh 😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬

he didn't "cheat" for 20 years just was a pos for 20 years. Also gotta understand that in korea it's more touchy about getting a divorce it's why in the show they are giving her a really good reason that even more traditional viewers would be okay with if she wanted to leave him.

Living without a father throughout her whole childhood can be a struggle emotionally and mentally. When she finally finds out that he has been happy with his other family all along (for the past 20 years to be exact) while keeping her and her mother a secret, that might have built up pain and hatred in her overtime. I think that's why she ended up acting the way that she did.

I feel sorry to Dr. Cha, she is sweet and kindhearted who dedicate her life for her family and disregard her dreams as a doctor for how many decades. Although its understandable that her children wanted to keep their father's secret affair because they know how much it will hurt her, its really unfair since it also a betrayal for not telling her the truth. But also, it sad that they have to feel betrayed as well and keep it a secret while feeling guilty. They disregard their own feeling even if they feel hurt for knowing their father's affair and choose not to let their mother know the truth. The cheating husband is really the worse putting his children in the tight spot instead of feeling sorry and ask for forgiveness. His character is really something

Apuros. Eu mataria o meu marido se fosse a Dra Cha. Tá não mataria, mas com certeza bateria muito nele. Mascararia ele e a amante na frente do hospital todo. Se vcs acham a filha da amante um demônio. Eu faria bem pior. Mulher brava é o cão. Até o demônio tem medo. Odeio o marido da Dra Cha. Por mim ela ficava com Dr Roy e f.. a diferença de idade. O que interessa é que ela a admira, gosta dela e é uma pessoa maravilhosa. Nunca iria perder a chance de trocar um marido péssimo por outro maravilhoso.

I dont think that Eunsoo is twisted. She just wants to live in the daylight instead of the shadows because of the secret of her birth. She wants to have a normal life. Honestly all she did was tell the truth.

Eunsoo is understandably upset and bitter that Irang got to grow up with their dad in a "regular" family. However, other than the father, they weren't out there living their best lives and shunning her knowingly. They had no idea she existed, and that's the father's fault. The people she should be angry at are her parents, 1 for cheating and 2 for not fessing up to it after her birth if indeed the father wanted to be in her life. I believe one of the characters said it, but instead of being underhanded about her reveal, Eunsoo could have been straightforward with Irang and said, "Hey, your dad has been lying to your family for years. I'm your half sister and he's still actively spending time with my mom behind his family's back."

I disagree, Eunsoo is twisted... but she's twisted because of the environment she grew up in and not because she is inherently a bad character. She deliberately approached Irang to befriend her and deliberately revealed her identity to Irang without considering the consequences of this action and specifically its impact on Irang. In fact, I think her experience as a bastard has made molded her into quite a jealous, bitter and manipulative character. Though her background is pitiful, having to live in the shadows as a bastard child, she is by no means a 'nice' person.

I cud say she is twisted because she could have told irang honestly instead of this approach.i find as if she is planning an ulterior move.i get that she is jealous because irang got to live happily with her family while she is shunned but that's not irang's fault.the mistress should have handled properly.eunsoo have no right to break up someone's family .the best she could do is encourage her mother to speak out the truth and accept what comes after that and that's where eunsoo's limit draws.

Dr. Cha statement to the half-sister to her own daughter is so touching; this is an adult problem... the mistress also want to end things cos she isn't that terrible as a person but this guy (I hated him when he was in Descendant of the Sun already) is a fickle of a person...

The daughter is just as callous, self-centred and entitled as her mistress mother. She thinks if she outs him he'll have to divorce and give *her* a complete family and justify's destroying his original family in the process as nothing or 'they've had the happy family in the light for 20 years, now it's our turn. I'm sick of being the dirty little secret child I *deserve* everything his other daughter has and I'm so much better anyway' as if it's that simple. Really shows that the good qualities from Dr.Cha's kids definitely don't come from him. The mistress' daughter may have been a victim of her parents choices, but she's now chosen to cause others pain to get what she believes should have been hers and her mothers in the first place and she believes was denied because of Dr.Cha, when in reality the guy is just a spineless schmuck.

The bigger hit would more likely be his life. He is suppose to be a pretty well respected doctor and surgeon and if it gets out he has illegitimate children running around he could definitely lose his job and be sued civilly by the hospital board for damaging their image especially if there are donors that will pull money if he still around.
