While I did enjoy her chemistry with Dr Roy, I don’t think she was ready to jump into another relationship just yet. She really needed time to heal, and learn to love herself again… the ending did just that and I’m thrilled!!!! There seems to be this ridiculous notion that you have to be in a relationship/have kids to have a fulfilling life. That simply isn’t true for everyone. While Dr. Cha does have her kids, she doesn’t need a romantic partner to be truly happy. Just look at her smile in this scene!!!!! God I just have so much love for this character. 🥹🥰

And we also saw that evolve with her friend (I don't remember her name), even if at first she wasn't completely happy being single and with no kids, at the end we saw her being happy with her life and her friends, I think that shows that even if you don't have kids you can reach happiness in your own way.

Im glad she chose herself instead of Roy. He seemed like he wanted marriage and kids. Dr. Cha already been married, had kids, and sacrificed her dreams for her family for years. She is ready to live the next phase of her life focusing on finding her peace and happiness.

I'm here for Dr. Cha finding herself and being happy with herself! Yes, Dr. Roy is such a great man and SUCH a green flag but honestly I'm happy they didn't end up together romantically. Dr. Cha needed this time to be with herself - that is the most realistic ending because that happens IRL too! She just wants to live her life and live through her own name which she didn't get to do for the past 20 years. I'm here for her healing era.

one of the reasons why I started liking kdrama is its not always focus on the love life of the main lead or it doesn't always have a happy ending because it's more realistic that not all had happy ending and I'm sick of drama in my country that always focus on love triangle that always end up in hostage taking, kidnapping or the Villain dying.

I feel like the most impressive thing about this drama is the ending. I can't believe how well they ended it. By the end of the series, I seriously can't bring myself to hate any of the characters. Absolute masterpiece! 👌🏾

I'm so happy she choose her self, even tho it's such a waste to let Dr. Roy... But Dr. Roy deserve happiness too, he deserves to have a family, a kids that resembles him... If he is end up with Dr. Cha - he maybe have a family with her but not a kids... Dr. Cha did a very good job and she is not selfish at all... She realizes Dr. Roy had a long way to go for his future with someone else than being with her.

I’m a little disappointed she didn’t end up with Dr. Roy (at least not yet…a girl can hope…) but this is such a beautiful ending. Running her own clinic/holistic health restaurant, motorcycling, and just living life to the fullest is amazing. And while I think the producers may have been hesitant with fulfilling the older woman/younger man pairing, they did something just as daring by letting her choose herself and live life without need for romance.

She no need to babying oediphus complex man. If a younger guy attracted to 50+ yo women, no matter how green flag he is, it's only two reason, either he's a gold digger or he has MILF fetish (Mommy issue) boy. Many end up with another divorce, the worst case is if the guy secretly attracted to your daughter & ruin her life.

Ojalá que haya segunda temporada y la dra. Cha y el doc. Roy sean pareja tienen buena química,él se ve que es un gran doctor ser humano y un gran hombre. I did appreciate that they gave us an ending if the series ends. I felt bad for Dr. Roy because he deserved a happy ending. Also, I wish the ex-husband had of finally got a chance to be with his mistress so he and she could see that they are no good for each other. I loved Dr. Cha's ending because she seemed happy even though she had endured so much pain. I became emotional on a few of these episodes which means this was a great Netflix show for me.

😢😢😢 IT'S NOT REALLY REVENGE THAT WE ASPIRE HERE In this Drama, But that Justice should prevail against that deceitful, liar, selfish inconsiderate husband and his mother! Imagine this mother was a very bad influence on her son, Inho. Nobody in Dr Cha's family appreciated and thanked DR Roy Kim for all the.goodnesskindness, .care, physical, emotional and medical services, support DR Roy Kim rendered to Dr Cha. He just disappeared abruptly and No Noble Exit. It's not neccessary that the Ending will be a matrimonial Episode but a happy situation with Dr Roy ( as Soulmates) in the picture,.ins- tead of that deceitful, liar, inconsiderate, uncaring,. selfish greedy weakling husband who was.given so much focus and.attention and appreciation,,??? In our native language, " ANYARE??? Translation -- "What happened?" (sarcasti cally ).😢😢😢😢😢😢

Durante a série toda vocês criaram a expectativa que ela viveria um romance com o Dr Roy, só pra no final ela acabar sozinha. Eu fiquei decepcionada. Tenho certeza que se o personagem principal fosse um homem de 50 anos e uma moça jovem estivesse interessada nele os dois teriam ficado juntos. Eu não quero um final "realista", se quisesse algo do tipo não ia ver uma história de ficção. 👎 The entire series we were given the impression that a romance between Dr. Cha and Roy was possible only to be given this ending. I'm so disappointed! I bet if the main character was a fifty years old male and the one in love with him a young woman, they would have ended up together. I wasted my time with this series. If I wanted to watch something realistic, I wouldn't watch a fictional show!

I like that she (Dr. Cha) had her happing ending - that's all good and well. However, I think the writers lost their way. They built up the possibility of some kind of romance between Dr. Cha and Dr. Roy. If it was going to lead to nothing, the writers should have focused on their incredible friendship. Seems like a waste for the last 4 or 5 episodes. They were boring and it appears the writers kept changing their minds. So many episodes with no action. Insteas - I had switched to "The Good Bad Mother" - has more thrilling scenes

Same here. I also alternated with GB Mother (Lee Do Hyun's acting is remarkable). The last 4 episodes of Dr. Cha were dragging on. The ending was nice though. One's own cup needs to be filled too

I agree with you. I had a beautiful ending in my mind where Dr. Roy joined her in her mission and ending the show with both of them just happily looking at each other. At least leave something romantic for the viewers imagination. jeez.

With regards to the cancer patient that had the baby, who was the father? I didn't get a clear understanding of that. She said she left a clue for her father to figure it out. I wanted it to be the actor. Would have been nice if he began a relationship with her parents and helped out.

The ending doesn't mean she will never find romantic love again. She's not stagnant. She's doing a lot... I see the story as celebrating her for herself, and also for the way that by taking her own power she actually helps transform other people. Some were changed more than others...but all became better versions of themselves in some way. That is why there is no need for revenge. The outcome is better if all people have grown. The series is not unrealistic, though. Some of the gains are smaller, particularly for In-ho's second daughter, who still is trying to even the score without love and compassion being at the core.

Another middle-aged woman ending up single and devoting her life to her family and career. How boring and sad, especially since her kids are adults and will have lives of their own. Yes, she needed time to herself but the way the writers wrote Roy, they purposely lead most viewers on, and that I don’t like. There was no need to allude to them being endgame. They could have had them as platonic friends or simply a doctor-patient relationship. Btw, choosing yourself doesn’t mean closing yourself to love. People need love, especially when you meet a great guy who treats you right. But the writers made it look like she was an old lady and that that chapter of her life was forever closed.

Even in real life Dr Cha is not married and don't have kids. Her bio says that she is not dating anyone. Maybe her role in the ending of the series reflects her real life. Also in the series, she got pregnant when she was young and never time for herself to develop into a mature woman. That is why she did not want to have another relationship with Dr Roy. She's been there and done that. She needed time to herself as an adult.

I'm a bit disappointed he didn't end up with Dr. Roy but i think she deserves this time of healing and enjoy what she missed from the past. And, it was a bit quick if she enters into a relationship right after her divorce. Maybe if they will think of having S2, then they might end up together.

😂😂😂 Yesss, what was in the mind of the scriptwriters and directors, having ended this Kdrama so drastically and unexpected Finale??? Gosh what they did to DR Kim Roy is injustice.. " Disappea-- ring just like that -- like a bubble😢??? The plot/story line of I HAVE A LOVER, is simply BEAUTIFUL and the Stars were perfect for their roles. The impact of this Drama IHAL is awesome, that up to this time, we've been watching over and over again countless times,.this Drama of the century.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
