I used a soft shutter release on my X100V and it broke the shutter button, 1 day it suddenly lost all feedback, no half press for focus etc. Had to send it to get fixed. Makes it easy for stuff to catch underneath and pull up and damage the mechanism.

I haven’t had any similar issues but I will admit my soft shutter release button recently fell off and I haven’t bothered to replace it! I’ve had a few people warn me against them so decided to keep it off 😊

You can yeah! Not the adapter but you can use the filter

Yes the haoge gets the job well done in a pinch. I hope square hood drops the price or makes the shopping free

Me too! Especially as they’re discontinuing the Mark ii hood (which is such a shame because that’s my favourite and I’m not a fan of the Mark iii - to me it looks more like the haoge version)

Hey, quick question! Does the original lens cap fit on the Haoge adapter + UV filter (without the square hood)? Thanks!

Hey! It does fit on there, it’s not really tight though so I imagine once placed in a camera bag it could quite easily come off. It’s also worth noting that the original lens cap also fits on the front when the square lens hood is on there, again not a snug fit but just enough. Hope this helps! 😊

Sometimes you cant find enough videos about things you are into...and sometimes you start to hate how much ppl use the same device that you want and you don’t have it. And 63£...damn! At the end...you do deserve more more subs, good video, really good. Your voice can put me to sleep...I love that/asmr potential.

I think the Haoge lens hood is a good budget choice for people who don’t want to spend the extra on the Fujifilm. But yeah, I agree the design is better. Thanks for watching.
