Do you recommend this combo in 2024? I found a good offer and i am really tempted! I know it is not the newest model but i don't mind that!

0:36 Quick tipp: you don't need to shoot like 1/4000s shutter speed with stationary subjects. Your AUTO ISO level will be high and your images much noisier than they have to.

I don’t think so, I haven’t looked too much into it yet. The extra megapixels would be nice, but other than that the new specs seem to be upgrades for video, and as I have the Canon R6 and R, I rarely use the Fuji for anything other than stills 😊 maybe one day though, I am a sucker for buying new gear…

Hi... I think there is something wrong with (your)this lens... i had it some years before on a Sony (actually canon shooter too) an i had all images much sharper. the only issue is the CA..but only with open arperture. I also had the 35/2 nFD ... excellent too. thanks for your video.

The video (5:10 onwards) really stood out to me when watching. Maybe something about the mood of the weather and the day - it felt very cinematic, striking. Even when it's just a guy walking down the street with his pushchair. :)
@deryncorbett5 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching Andy! I remember filming that clip with the person walking with the pushchair and literally saying out loud “this is so cinematic” such a seemingly simple shot but it really stood out in the end! I agree, I think it was the overcast weather that day, mixed with the lens possibly? 😊

Great video and great lens ! I could'nt get used to the focus peaking so I configured the manification on a button gets me quick in and out of magnification. With the magnification on I find it so much easier to get sharp images. Great editing ! ....

Really love seeing these videos from another female photographer 🫶🏻 so jealous of all the walkable areas you have! (I don’t have any around me unless we drive a ways to the city and it’s a bit of a mess with crime 🙃) I wish I had been into photography back when I lived in England because I would’ve absolutely gone exploring on a photo walk like this!

Hello, I recently purchased the RF 24-105 and have been searching for videos to see other's experience with it. I enjoyed your video. Amazing how much your experience coming out of the lock-down mirrors ours here in the states. Norwich is a lovely city. I've been to Seattle Washington several times and it has a similar vibe. Very walkable. When I shot there I focused mostly on the architecture. I am curious to do more street photography, but I'm very apprehensive because I don't want to invade people's private moments. Additionally, I am not a professional photographer, but some day I could foresee trying to sell my work. Releases are an issue here in the states. I certainly don't want to walk around asking people to sign a release after I've snapped their photo. At the same point ya never know whether the photo you just took could someday be a world-wide smash hit! LOL! Perhaps I overthink a little...? LOL! But I am curious to hear your thoughts about these considerations. Do you sell your street photography? Do you worry about releases? Are things different in the UK? Thanks so much from Stow, Ohio USA.
@deryncorbett4 ай бұрын
Apologies for the late reply! Releases aren’t something I’ve ever had to consider here, but then again I haven’t thought about selling any of my street photography! You may be overthinking it but that’s normal haha, it’s good you want to get out there and try street photography. Maybe get familiar with the laws in your area before you go out. But you won’t regret taking the risk of putting yourself out there! Street photography is daunting at first but quickly rewarding 😊
@LeeLong4 ай бұрын
@@deryncorbett Not actually overthinking it at all. I was just curious how you addressed such matters in your part of the world. I do know that someone taking my picture without my permission would feel awkward at best. I know some folks would feel it to be a violation of their privacy. I don't think it's a simple matter at any rate.
