@@TheZehahaha1 Alt is slow and will get out-maneuvered by speed and technical edge rushers and blitzing linebackers/safeties. He'll have to push himself physically to make up for his lack of speed which will lead to injuries. Troy Fautanu is the best available. Not many can get underneath and forklift him or run around on an angle. And he's 6'4, so Rodgers can see over him. Watch the film and compare opponents.

I've been saying Bowers for the Jets at 10 but I wouldn't be upset if they do take Odunze. It would also break the 50 year drought for Rodgers in getting him offensive help in the first round.

Man I’m so damn excited for the draft!!! This will truly be more exciting than what we got last year! I’ve seen the Jets in favor of either Bowers or Romeo Odunze! The Jets are not going for a defensive player not again! That would be a disappointment. Now as far as what I see my team picking at 25, is either Kool-Aid Mckinistry, Cooper Dejean, Mimms, Wiggins, or Guyton, but most likely it’ll be a defensive player cuz we never go offense and this year it makes sense to not worry about offense too much besides getting a RB and OL on day 2, and day 3. I really like this draft class, this is one of those classes that will really help teams that need to make up for what they didn’t get last year like the safeties and corners in this class are so solid to where the top safety that Packers are projected on day 2 to get Nublin or Bullard from Georgia, would be similar to Brian Branch pick but! Kool-Aid Mickinistry is definitely going to be the Brian Branch pick

The Packers in my opinion need to walk out with one of those top ones but we have to worry about the Steelers, Eagles, Dolphins, Vikings, since the Cowboys are going O-line! Guyton seems solid! I sorta almost think he’s more of a round 2 guy but a definite late first rounder that’s for sure! Mimms is a BEAST!! That kid can BLOCK! Not allowing a single sack in his years at Georgia really has me thinking Packers should go get him if we wanna really go in that direction night 1, would have us shocked cuz we never ever go offense night 1 😂😂 for god sakes we missed out on JSN!! Not to mention u guys did as well lmaoo, but still though! This year is not a clowning around year for the Jets definitely and the Packers! Both teams have done outstanding this offseason from what I’ve seen in your vids, Matt’s vids and Green Beans vids, you guys are gonna be very solid I cannot wait to see what the Jets can seriously do with a healthy Rodgers cuz once he’s back from that, he’s gonna have a chip on his shoulder and he’s gonna be very fun to watch cuz he balls out!!

It’s definitely Bowers. Rodgers last few seasons at Green Bay didn’t sling it downfield. More short passes and that makes the tight end the pick.

@@JetsTalk247Not happy with QB & RB. JD is trying to save his job so doubt he goes for QB. Coaches don't know how to develop QB so it a wasted pick. We'd better off with vet RB with can block. We can't have a RB that we gotta teach to block with AR health. 7th rder, id pick an injured player that can redshirt this year

I would be ok with Odunze; really better than ok. But with Fashanu on the board I wouldn’t pass up the chance to solidify LT for the future. Also I think there would be good receivers in the 3rd round but not OTs. Love your show; I watch a couple of you guys. You’re my favorite; I like your passion and that you laugh a lot. You’re fun.

The problem is, we aren't really in a rebuild. With rodgers, we are in it for one year, maybe 2. That is why you go odunze. You go for broke. Having wilson in the slot, where he is a god, would be HUGE.

I dont think odunze is there at 10 sadly. I feel like buffalo would trade the farm to get ahead of the jets there. And not having him changes the second pick too. Love jayden daniels seems perfect to develop and otherwise it all sounds good and reasonable

Jayden Daniels isn't gonna get past #3 IMO. For the Bills to come up they'll likely have to give up 3 firsts or 2 firsts + xxx, that seems like a ton to give up with how stacked the WR class is

I totally agree with you. A majority of this fan base thinks Joe Douglas is a genius. Truth is that he traded Darnold and got more than expected which makes the panthers stupid and not Douglas a genius. He got slapped around in last years draft with Pitt trading up and I see it again this year. For this reason the Jets must trade up! Douglas is out if they don’t make the playoffs so he could care less about the jets future picks. Do whatever you can to get Harrison JR. Trade this years 1 and next years 1 and make the damn playoffs.

mmmm... no WR at 10, get Fautanu. The reason I say this is the Jets have a nagging problem in the last 14 years with edge rushers, and blitzing linebackers/safeties. Some offensive linemen WILL get injured, it's absolutely guaranteed. The WR draft class is DEEP, the offensive lineman class is not. Ja'Lynn Polk, Brenden Rice, and Pearsall are very good for a 40 year old quarterback who will be handing the ball off most of the time. I'm not sure if they will be there in the 3rd round though.

Ryan…. It KILLS ME THAT you Social media dudes think that it’s better to get a WR that can only produce for your team .. “IF” your QB can get them the ball instead of laying on his back. A guy who at best will play for your team 6 to 8 years at a high level, instead of getting an Offensive Lineman that is NEEDED to protect the QB who throws the ball to your WR. You wanna pass on OTs with potential to be the next AVT or Tyron Smith, someone that can play at a high level protect your 40 yr old and future QBs, so they can pass the ball to a WR and can do that for next 10-12 years. It’s even crazier to me that you guys believe that just any Offensive Tackle can play and start at left tackle in the NFL. This dude Amegadijie is less athletic than Becton ever was and you believe he can be the FUTURE LT of the NYJ? 😏😒🙄🙄🙄 In a draft extremely deep at WR you wanna take a WR at 10? I got news for you, Ryan. I truly believe that the NY Giants will take tackle at #5. The Giants possesses a second round pick and in the draft so deep with talented WRs they can get their LT of the future in the first round to PROTECT their mediocre QB who was sacked 80 times times last year and had season ending neck surgery. In the second round they can get a WR like Leggett, Corely or Pearsall. The NYJ will probably have a chance to draft Odunze but that would be the stupidest thing they could do, unless of course they draft Brock Bowers then THAT would be the stupidest decision ever. Fixing this Oline with the best Oline talent that has come out in 12 years should be done for the benefit of the future of the NYJ. to ask do you even watch game film on the guys you plan on drafting?

Most Jet fans are dumb, that's why they thought they were "going to the Super Bowl" with a 39 year old quarterback with no offensive line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Every quarterback Jets had in the last 14 years failed because the offensive line was neglected. Personally, I think the Aaron Rodgers trade killed the team because there is basically no depth, except at defensive line, at the necessary skilled positions like offensive line. A season-ending injury to one of the star players on the team will cause the team to collapse.

You clearly don’t bleed jets green. Think in terms of goals. The goal for a team that owns the record in all major sports for missing the post season is to make the post season. You can’t fix all the holes but the biggest whole is WR. There is no #2. This is a scoring league. The jets have the best chance to make the post season they’ve had in a decade. You go ahead and get a wr that starts on day one!

You guys wanted to get a 39 year old quarterback and cough up the future and the farm to get him without an offensive line and then wonder why his season was over 4 plays into Game 1. Any amateur with basic fundamental football IQ understands you're not even making the playoffs with a high school varsity offensive line like the Jets had since 2011. "Win now" never works out for any team. The Cleveland Browns were "win now" throughout the 2000s. You know what happened? They went no where. The offensive line is the first most important unit in the game. The second is the defensive line. Football begins at the line of scrimmage, not with the QB, RB, or WR. If you lose at the line of scrimmage you will not make the playoffs. Period. There's no "ifs", "ands", or "buts". That's how the game is played. In 16 years the Jets selected 2 offensive linemen in the 1st round: Mekhi Becton and Alijah Vera-Tucker. Becton is a bust and Vera-Tucker is one injury away from getting the injury-plague for rest of his NFL career. This is not a formula for success buddy. Get your act together and draft a real line. Real fans are tired of the excuses and delusional media hype.

@@beefy1728 what’s funny about your post is I actually agree with every point. If you look at my postings you will see I argue with delusional jet fans all the time. Where your post fails though is in terms timing. This fan base, or at least me, does not care about 2025 and beyond. I’ve seen enough losing from a team that wins the record for missing the playoffs. I want to experience a playoff game. It really should not be too difficult as 7 teams out of 16 make the playoffs. Due to a terrible GM and the worst game day coach the Jets make this difficult. My point is that 2024 is their best chance. The Bills lost their top 2 receivers. The patriots no longer own the division. Maybe the Steelers made a huge mistake with Wilson. Maybe Jax missed their opportunity. Again, I’m not looking at the future. I’m not looking for a Super Bowl. All I want is to make the post season. If they don’t make the post season then it’s still some sort of a win where the jets will hopefully fire the worst and most overrated GM and coach we’ve had.

I like your pick Ryan but don’t think he falls. I think that smarter teams will jump ahead and grab the top 3 WR leaving JD with egg on his face like last year. I wake up every day hoping the jets made a trade into the top 5. This is their shot for the post season. They don’t make it now then the GM and coach leave and we start the train all over. JD should not care about future picks so give up whatever is needed to get into the top 5 and get a day one starting WR.
